I went there for a fetal growth ultrasound at 33 weeks because of the wonderful experience we had the first time. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. My husband and I made it very clear that we did not want to know the sex of the baby. She said, "Sure. Sure." About half way through the ultrasound she just blurts out the sex of the baby. It was horrifying! We were just in shock the rest of the test. After the test I confronted her and told her that we told her several times that we didn't want to know the gender. She begins to tell me how we should know for the baby shower. This is our last child so this was going to be our surprise delivery. She didn't even comprehend the magnitude of the experience she just stole from us. The staff at the front desk seemed just as horrified as I explained the situation to them. They asked if there was anything they could do for us, but what could they do? Can they erase the memory? Can they somehow give us back the experience?
