Pioneer Gardens provides a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home for older adults who need some help to maintain their independence. The community is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which enables us to serve adults 65 and older of all financial means, including those on Medicaid. Our focus is on providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the personal assistance and help with medications that they need.

Pioneer Garderns Affordable Supportive Living Facility is located in the heart of the Bronzeville Community. When you walk into the beautifully decorated lobby, you also hear amazing music and are greeted by a pleasant security/receptionist. The residents have opportunities for in-house and outside activities, on-site doctors, nurses, physical/occupational and speech therapists, exercise, barber and beauty shop and more. There are spacious studio apartments and a walk-path is on the 2nd floor patio for exercise wihout leaving the building. Three meals a day a provided for those needing meal prepation, but a stove, refrigerator and microwave is in every apartment. The annual wheelchair parade is coming up on Sat., July 14th from 10am to Noon. Attire: red, white and blue -- ongoing entertainment and refreshments. They really know how to throw a party filled with fun, food and an exciting day for seniors.
