I wanted you to know that you have some of THE BEST Co- works in your organization at the ORD location.

I flew into ORD at 4 AM to attend my brothers funeral Thursday. Getting the car was a breeze.

But when I returned it today Friday, the agent had know idea the pain I was feeling from my hip replacement surgery as well my loss. But his smile and kindness was uplifting.
In addition, he personally RAN to the manager, Paul Jonhson, to fix a credit card issue. Paul then RAN back out to me to provide additional service.

The only negative was I'm jealous I can't RUN yet!!

Please make sure Paul and his team are properly recognized for their extra efforts and potential Olympic Gold medals!!

I use National several times a month, luckily not from this location. I needed to change my reservation to a one way and the girl told me I needed to talk to Erich. After waiting for 17 minutes for him to finish with a single customer, he told me he couldn't help me an I had to contact National via phone. So here I was in their crappy little of site shelter calling National. It took me at least another 15 minutes to get someone on the phone and get the reservation changed. Finally got home at 1:20 am, sure would have been nice to have gotten home a half hour earlier.

Quick and easy - went to the Emerald Executive Aisle, picked out a nice Jeep Grand Cherokee, spent about 2 minutes at the exit gate, and was on my way. Return was also quick and easy, and everything on the billing was correct. Pretty smooth.

Wow. A very late rental, about 1245am, and there were at least 25 other customers. The woman at the desk got us all going very quickly. I really appreciated her efforts since I had a 2 hour drive.

I am a emerald member and it took me 30 minutes to process out. I got the car waited to leave got on the toll way in Chicago only to look down and see I had less than an eighth of a tank of gas. shame on me for not checking, but shame on National for putting me in that position. Add insult to injury, I had to return the car full.

Reserved a one-way rental in their website, was given an estimate of $9.75 after rewards credit. When picking up the car, was charged $12.49. No big deal. When returning the car, was shocked to get a bill of $78.78. I was never made aware of the extra charge and never agreed. Actually if I knew, I would never book it. It's clearly a fraud of ripping unknowing customer off with hidden charges. Be very careful when dealing with them.

Had a good experience with National. Canceled with other lower cost option to go with the dependability of National. Their shuttle pickup is prompt and consistent and the option of the Emerald Aisle is my favorite feature. This particular trip there was no minivan immediately available, yet as soon as I mentioned it to an employee, one was brought up in minutes. The exterior had water spots all over the windows so I had to rewash it at our local car wash. That was no good. Overall I would recommend this location to others.

First time using National at O'Hare there were no cars available even though we reserved one - had to wait in long line for cars to be brought into the lot. Second time, there were just a few cars so we ended up with one with massive amounts of dried mud on the driver's side floor.

When renting from National Car Rental at Chicago O'Hare don't be confused when you are dropped off at the Alamo rental counter. National and Alamo share the same counter even though there are no National signs. Pick up and drop off with National at O'Hare was the easiest process I have been through yet when renting a car. The staff at the rental counter were very friendly and helpful directing other customers who did not know their way around Chicago.

This is one of the worst locations I have had to rent from. Not many cars to pick from when I arrived and when I confronted a staff member about the car I picked being smoked in he did not do anything. Hopefully I don't experience this again when I fly back in.

Booking a car on the web-site is easy. Had to change the reservation and it was just as easy. Cars are in good condition, as member of the Emerald club the selection was great! The service is fast, courteous, and efficient.

Great selection and service, but I was disappointed with the taxes and fees that are added on, nearly 40% was added on to my bill. I don't rent too many vehicles so maybe all places are like this now, but be sure to check the taxes and fees when renting from National, my $51 rate turned out to be in the high $90's per day

This was a very stressful, last minute business trip. Myself and two colleagues arrived at 5:30pm and needed three cars. The great folks at this location took care of us immediately. Both pick up and return were flawless. Major kudos the entire staff at the O'Hare National location.

I have been a REPEAT customer to this National Car Rental location. There are many other places to choose, but this company gets it. Fast service, good selection of cars and the big bus from the airport. I have not had a bad experience here yet!

Bus transfer was quick. Emerald Executive isle was fully stocked. Car was clean with full tank. I'd have to give National an A for the experience at O'hare.

Waited nearly 40 minutes for the shuttle. Lost track of how many times I saw the Hertz shuttle! Then went to the counter per the instructions on the email received that day from National (despite it being an Emerald Aisle rental) only to be told that "the computer is telling people to go to the counter for no reason ". Walked out to find no cars available, then back inside where we were told to take a car from the executive aisle. On the flip side, drop off was a breeze and we were on the shuttle within 2 minutes of getting out of the car.

Holy Cow! My experience at this location was awesome! The emerald club choice was excellent and I have never been in a vehicle and out the door more quickly and efficiently. The return was just as good and the staff were friendly and fantastic! Thanks National team!

National Car Rental Emerald Service makes renting a car at the airport one less thing to be stressed about. Took the shuttle from the terminal to the National Care Rental location, walked onto the lot, chose a car, and off I went. Upon return, I drove onto the lot, grabbed my bags, got onto the convenient shuttle and rode to the terminal. No hassle, no fuss, no problems, no stress! I like it like that.
