I have been a customer of Mid City Nissan for quite some time now. Since I first purchase my car ten years ago, I have visited the service department plenty of times. I really never had a problem for me to complain about but I'am happy to say that customer service has improved dramatically. The integrity of this dealership went from good to excellent! Everything that is promised gets done right away, I'm very happy of the changes and Mid City Nissan will continue to be my number one service choice.

Initially, I had visited Al Piemonte Nissan in Melrose Park, but after being treated like total crap I had given up all hope. A friend of mine who lives in the city, referred me to Mid City Nissan. And let me just say that I should've visited this dealer since the beginning of my car hunt! The buying process was extremely easy and the staff was very professional. If your out looking to buy a car, go to Mid City Nissan and ask for Luis, great, informative down to earth guy, I'm very happy with how I was treated and my new car! Highly recommend...

I have been a Nissan person my entire life and just recently bought my first one from Mid City Nissan. Little did I know, I should have been buying my Nissans from Mid City long ago. I have never dealt with a more professional, welcoming and patient dealership. They helped me through the entire process and made it as effortless as it could possibly be. I was in and out with my brand new Nissan pathfinder that day! Great pricing, great sales associated and an overall great experien

BUYER BEWARE!

This dealership has been deceptive throughout my entire purchasing process.

The peak of my troubles happened just recently when I found out the (supposed) 2012 Hyundai Sonata *SE* (sports edition) Mid City sold

me was only a 2012 Hyundai Sonata *GLS* (base edition).

My paperwork reads SE but when I called Hyundai USA to verify my VIN they confirmed the car was indeed a GLS. The VIN on my

paperwork matches the car which matches the GLS model from the manufacturer- yet Mid City claimed it as an SE which

is a few thousand dollars more expensive.

When I called Mid City to explain this the General Manager, Chuck Settles, said it is in their records as SE and nothing can be done except for me to

sell it back to them (at a major loss, of course).

Though Mid City claims their records show it as an SE my bank, Chase, says the documentation received from Mid City all

reads GLS.

The best part is that I paid thousands more for something I did not get!

Also note that Mid City will have you sign an Arbitration Agreement that prevents the customer from taking Mid City

to court for anything.

Other issues:

-Mid City was unable to provide my car's title within Illinois' grace period. During this time my drive-away license had expired and I was forced to drive 100 miles to my parents house to use a spare car. I was then forced to get another temporary license. I was never compensated for any of this.

Mid-City Nissan In Chicago ser...

Mid-City Nissan In Chicago service department is full of liars and thieves. I recently was there to get my car serviced and they came back with a qoute totaling four-thousand plus dollars to fix the problems with my car.

I was given an evaulation pamplet because I refused to let them service my car. i found out, all the expensive items on that list were not needed.I took my car to trustworthy people and all my repairs totaled less than six-hundred dollars.

Mid City Subaru

I couldn't find Mid City Subaru on here, but I know the Nissan is related, so I'll just put my review here. I just leased a 2011 WRX from Mid City Subaru and overall, I had a pleasant experience. I leased my old Subaru from Mid City about 3 years ago as well, and had an OK experience then.

I came in last weekend just to see if I qualified for a lease and to see what WRXes were available. There was only one, which was blue, and had more stuff on it than I was looking for. The salesman I dealt with, was really nice and had a no-pressure approach. He let me test drive the car even though I wasn't interested in this particular car, so I could at least get a feel for the WRX. After the test drive, I stated the numbers I was looking for and my salesman brought the GM, Jordan, to the negotiation table. Jordan's numbers were way too high initially. He initially assumed I wanted the WRX I just test drove and when I told him I wanted a different one, he looked around the state for one, found one to my liking, and settled with the numbers I was asking for. It was probably the easiest pre-negotiation I'd ever partaken in. Jordan told me the car would be in and ready on Monday so I followed up on Monday night and much to my surprise, Jordan kept his word and the final agreement still had the numbers we discussed earlier. My salesman transferred my plates and city sticker over to my new car and was extremely helpful. Even though I didn't really need it, he went over all the features of the car and went over the important parts of the manual. The only reason they don't get five stars is that someone misplaced the extra keys for the new car and it took almost half an hour to find them and it was already late and I was tired and ready to go home. I'd definitely do business with Mid City Subaru again, if another Subaru is in my future.

Mid City Nissan

I wouldn't recomend this dealer because they have trouble with telling the truth and often use bait and switch tactics. The service department can be somewhat slow.
