I was a loyal customer for over 10 years in there system, until May 6,2011. I went in with my check from world wide franchise and a well known payroll service and I couldn't get it cashed. Their staff lied to me and said she would call the currency exchange I usually go to in Skokie verify that I indeed was trying to cash a legitimate check.



The woman who was helping me at the Irving-Kedzie 24 Hr Currency Exchange told me that "HE" said my "check was too large they have previously only cash small checks".



#1. Their is no "he" at the currency exchange in Skokie. at least I have never seen a male in there every other Friday evening for t he last year and a half.



2. The clerk who was helping me proceeded to lie and act like she was on the phone with the currency i usually go to. She began calling out the routing numbers on the check for verification. WTF?



If you have been to a currency exchange before you know if they are going to verify a persons credentials from another location, they ask for the persons name and the company he or she employed from and if the person in question has cashed checks there recently.



I was treated like a criminal because my check was too large for the color of my skin, I will never go back. Angel F.
