JJI is The best school in Chicago to learn Judo, The Judo Professor Hollis Barnett is a 6th Dan in Judo and is One of the very best Judo teachers out there. He's Also very genuine and sharing and that's what's important.

Provided by YP.comnununu2 is correct, this is a great place to learn, especially the MMA class! the coach doesn't look like it but this guy, (i think his name is stevan or something like that) is a Catch Wrestling machine! he will show you things you never saw before in the realm of grappling and pain. he's also a Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. i went there for an intro class and was gassed 20 minutes in! and i wrestled and boxed for 10 years but never had a workout like this! unconventional techniques and great submissions.

Provided by YP.comGreat place. instruction in Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, & MMA. Great insructors.Very tough classes especially the MMA class taught by Coach Stefan. Also the oldest Dojo in Chicago.
