Our daughter had an expander and braces (Phase I treatment) at Jacobson Orthodontics and we could not be happier with the treatment she received. Dr. Jacobson is awesome with kids! Our daughter was nervous and he and his friendly staff made her feel at ease. He also cares so much about his patients' comfort that he will meet you at the office over the weekend and/or nights if ever needed. His fees are lower than any nearby competitor AND he even waived the charge to replace a broken appliance! Most importantly, he and his staff are so welcoming. We will definitely return for Phase II and our youngest child's orthodontic treatment.

On the contrary from the previous review, Jacobson Orthodontics is a wonderful practice! It's amazing all the technology they use now a days for braces! From personal experience my wife's teeth look great and my little brothers looks great too! The staff is very knowledgeable and very nice, it's like a family. All the doctors in the practice thoroughly explain everything well and I know that my family needs to really take care of their teeth even after braces are off! Doing my homework, retainers are the most important way to keep your teeth straight and if you don't wear them well or they break for any reason, you do run the risk of having them go crooked again! Believe me, I do not want to be paying for braces again! Unless, they are for me! If I do, then for sure it's my wife's fault or my little brother's fault for not wearing their retainers and THEY will be paying for it, not me! I truly don't believe it's the orthodontists fault. They can't be in my wife's or my little brother's

Our son was a patient at their Vernon Hills location. Complete waste of $5500. Over 3.5 years of treatment for our son's teeth that looked worse after the treatment than when we started. Prescribed a "permanent retainer" that broke three times (twice which he replaced with out telling us, so we weren't aware of the situation). They wanted another $900 to re-straighten his teeth. Had to pay another orthodontist to fix the botched job from this practice.You've been warned.
