I remember when my mother took me for a bus ride to school, when I was just in Kindergarten and the next day, she put me on the first bus and I had to transfer to another bus to school, all by myself. I had to focus on the flower shop as a marker and believe it or not, that store is still there! This School is where I got My start in education. I can still remember the Red Paddle that fanned my tailbone in the Cloakroom and the stern education that was instilled in me by the Nuns there from Kindergarten to 4th grade. I will always carry a respect for my Catholic upbringing. I did not go all the way in the Education Field, but, I carry enough within my mind to know that what was given to me has helped me tremendously and I continue to inspire my offsprings through four generations to stay within the educational learning fields to get what life has in store for them and NO!, I do not utilize the Red Paddle!, but it is a thought... at times... I know that there is a lot of controversy about the Catholic Church, but, I, was fortunate enough not to experience any of alledged things that have been sources for Newsworthy coverage.
