My check engine light came on and my motor started shaking quite a bit, so I took it to Auto Zone for the free reader check. Of course, it's not always accurate, but it showed a repair that was going to cost over $500, so I looked up reviews for car repairs near my home (luckily I'm walking distance from here!) I took it in and Aurelio seemed confused at what the Auto Zone reader showed, so he said he would plug it in to his computer and call me back in a few hours, since there were about 5 cars ahead of me. He called back in about 1.5 hours and said rodents were chewing on my wires, so the parts would be very inexpensive, just a few hours of labor and time to order new connectors. He had my car done in less than 24 hours at a VERY reasonable price, and took the time to show me what they replaced, what they had to order, and where the rats were nesting. It's no big fancy place but they do good, honest, quick work, and they update you every step of the way to make sure you know what's going on with your car. After being in the city for almost 6 years, I finally have "a guy" to take my car to from now on!
