I spent an entire winter fighting with these guys over a screen that I ordered. Despite the fact the screen had not arrived months after the promised date, they refused to refund my money. I pleaded with them to premit me to cancel my order and buy a screen elsewhere, to no avail. It was a hard winter to be unable to use my fireplace.



About three months after the due date, I got a call that the screen was in. When I went to pick it up, they told me they had lost the screen. A few days later, they found it and I picked up the screen, however, it was not the screen that I ordered.



After another fight on the telephone they agreed to finally refund my money. However, when I returned the screen, they refused to accept it without another fight. They told me that they could not credit my refund at the time because the kid who handles the accounting was not in. Over the following weeks I recieved multiple promises that the refund would be credited, after the third phone call, a credit for the purchase price, but not the tax was made to my ceredit card. When I called, yet again, I was told that the tax was withheld as a restocking fee.



I understand that this store changed ownership recently. It is clearly not the reputable establishment that it used to be.
