Green City Landscapes "totally rocks" (and we mean that in a good way)

We highly recommend Green City Landscaping. Our only problem---friends continuously get confused and “lost” the first time they come to visit us…the front is that different!

Angela, Luis, and their team knew how to work with the design of our art deco house to create a front hard and softscape that greatly enhances our home’s design and curb appeal. Our front now provides an open, inviting walkway and steps that are both sophisticated and kid-friendly; and our landscape offers a unique look and feel that further complements our home’s coloring while also providing four season interest.

While on the job, they were cost conscious in recommending that we save one of our larger bushes and use some of our original perennials from the front, as well as borrow a few from our backyard to connect the two together. And Angela and Luis’ attention to detail and craftsmanship are continually noticed by guests and neighbors who love the design. And how often is it that you can truly say "you really love it" after you've finished a design project, even in winter!

A few words about the process we went through to find Green City since we don't live near where they've worked before.....After interviewing and receiving quotes from landscape contractors who were recommended by neighbors, we just weren’t finding what we really wanted in a turnkey landscaper, so we began searching the ILCS (Illinois Landscape Contractors Association) for alternatives and websites to review. After interviewing another five, we narrowed the field to three and chose Green City Landscaping, located in Hyde Park, and whose work we had never seen other than via a design portfolio and design sketch from the bid. Angela, Luis, and team did not disappoint.
