Somehow my keys kept getting lost, it was the time I had to make a visit to the hardware store, but unfortunately the store was shut for the holidays. Not knowing what to do, I looked online for key makers and landed on The locksmith who arrived, Eric I think, was brilliant. He got keys made in no time. He enquired curiously as to why I would need so many keys and I told him, how I was generally careless with them. He recommended that I install a keyless system, where all I needed was a passcode for access. I’ve scheduled an appointment for it with Global Locksmith Shop the next week. Service was great! I figured they might take hours to reach, since my home was located far from the heart of Chicago. Nevertheless, a locksmith from Global Locksmith Shop turned up at my doorstep in twenty minutes. Eric worked entirely out of his mobile workshop, and managed to make the copy of keys I needed. Im definitely calling them again, I had a few locks that needed to be changed and from what I read on their , theyve stocked up on only the high quality ones. Best in Chicago, IL! We got locked out of our loft in Chicago, IL on a Sunday evening, Search Online for a locksmith and picked Global Locksmith Shop , he was at our place within 15 minutes. We have a pretty heavy duty lock I guess, we had no idea until he started working on it, but pretty soon he unlocked it and even did a little maintenance on it before he left!! I'd say the entire experience speaks to his efficiency, skill and service! He charged an incredibly reasonable competitive rate, $89.00.

Global Locksmith Shop was awesome. I called to get a lock rekeyed and they were able to get to my office and do the job within 2 hours....even in the snow! They were very professional and everything was explained and double checked to make sure it was done the right way.

We just moved to Chicago, IL and need to get a new lock for our place. So we scheduled an appointment on Saturday with Jeffy. He shows up on time asked us to pick a lock we want and starts working on it. Everything went smoothly and he finishes within 30 mins. Right after, we went out.

Come 1 o'clock in the morning we come back home and we can not open the door. Called Jaffrey and did a quick Q&A then said he would be on his way. Come 20 mins later he's in Chicago, IL to work on my lock. He finally got in, and finds out that the the key frame on the door was a hack job that's why it was interfering with the lock. So he grind it down for us and tried to make as little noise as possible to be considerate to our neighbors. After a good hour of work, he finally fixed the problem and he apologized to us that this situation happened and just walked away! Didn't even ask for any money. That's the type of service Jeffry provides.
