My husband and I had two positive experiences here before having one very bad experience that will keep us from returning as customers.

I had a significantly sentimental piece from which I wanted the diamond removed and created into a pendant. While the pendant turned out well, Chuck had the gold bands from which the diamond was extracted put in with recycling and melted down. His immediate reaction, rather than to apologize and attempt to make things right, was to blame me for a variety of reasons, including that I didn't make it clear that I wanted my property returned. To me, this was a given - if we didn't make plans otherwise, my original ring should have been returned to me. He didn't ask any questions about this at the original appointment and didn't call to confirm before he took it upon himself to make the decision.

Eventually, Chuck tried to apologize and offered to make a small piece to wear with the pendant but it was too little, too late. The original piece was irreplaceable. Additionally, he charged us full price for the work and kept the amount that was given to him for recycling the gold bands. I would not trust him with any jewelry needs that really matter to you. It's just not worth the risk.
