The Gatling's was the best thing that happen for me when my father past. I considerate them the greatest thing that appeared on earth from picking my father up from the house three flight of stairs and placing him at Mt. Hope cemetery. The staff must have taking some kindness pills or are very well trained. The treatment we got made us or I shall say my family like Kings and Queens. I will give you two thumbs up but if i had more you know the story from there. You and the staff was the greatest.

My aunts Service was Held at Gatlings a few weeks Back at all i can say is A+ work they had my aunt looking so good she looked younger than she did when she was at the nursing home.. They took the time with my family and guided them through every hard time even with our finacial problems.. everything was just great from the long streach white limos to the professional customer service to the large comfortable chapels i give Gatlings Chapel 5 stars and will recomend them to any and everyone thanks guys and keep up the good work you will be blessed

My experience at Gatling's Chapel was very very satisfactory and I will recommend them to the world. The staff was so PROFESSIONAL that it is so unbelieviable everything was done in a timely manner.

I can Truly say Gatling's Chapel has 5 star Service I am a faithful Usher at Salem Baptist Church of Chicago where my Pastor is Rev. James T. Meeks. When my Mother Passed July 5, 2011 are family didnt khow what to do, But Pastor Meeks assured me that Gatling's is the place to go. They work with us step by step from the House Removal all the way to Cemetery. Mrs. Gatling even sung at the service. they gave us a Bible and they looked Good in there white suits, as Far the other Familys who have used them that is sad that happen but I dont know what Gatlings you went to but they did a Great Job, and if you need a Funeral call Gatling's Chapel

Gatlings Chapel Inc. is ghetto, unprofessional and offers little to no customer service! My great-grandmother was cremated after funeral services. My family was informed that ashes would be availble to the family in two weeks. After several phone calls over one month we finally received the ashes which had been sitting in Gatlings two weeks after the service!! The staff is ghetto and not helpful. Please think twice before making arrangements through this funeral home!!!!! The aftermath is nothing but a big headache

Jan 17, 2011My Grandmother passed on 12/20/2010 at a local nursing home and Gatlins was called by the family to "Pick Up and Hold the body", until the Funeral Directors from out of state (Michigan), could come and retrieve the body (4 hours later). Grandmother had a pre-arranged/paid for funeral with the out of state Funeral home and wanted to buried back in her home state. Against the family's wishes, she was embalmed, her body held hostage until the out of state directors paid over $1,100.00. After numerous complaints and calls and unanswered explanations over the fees assessed us; now they've decided to hold the Death Certificates hostage. We need them for the policy to be cashed by the other funeral home to pay for her services, which were on December 29, 2010. Had to resort to filing a complaint with the Better Business Organization as while as a complaint with Lisa Madigan's office (Illinois Attorney General's Office). Christian People?? NOT!!!!!!! DO NOT USE GATLINS.
