This EZ Scrap Metal Recycling is a criminal outfit run by Richard (Halls). When we closed our warehouse in Chicago in September we had 8,200 lbs. of copper and brass (plus steel racks and machineries) that we wanted to sell. Richard came in, offered a decent price and then immediately had these taken out with a promise to pay. Since then he has been making every excuse imaginable as to why the payments are delayed; then started making repeated claims that checks have been sent. He has other cohorts that work with him (Sally, etc.). They screen your calls and only reply when they have another excuse; after a while this stops and will only send you texts and this too will stop after a while. He also made deals to buy our machines, other materials and lots and lots of promises. All of them turned out to be lies.

EZ Recycling gave me a price on site paid me 600.00 more than my normal recycler the whole process was easy.

I own a scrap metal demolition company and found EZ Scrap through an online search.  I was looking to build a relationship with a new company to haul some of my metal overload.  I did a store demolition in McHenry and had them do rolloff service.  They picked up a full dumpster of scrap steel.  When I called to check on the payment they told me the check was in the mail.  I started getting nervous about payment after the third time hearing this and called in.  They kept dodging my calls, when I would call from a different line they would answer and have say that the office manager would call me back.  After 15 attempts I still have not gotten a return call from her and she was never in the office no matter what time of day it was.  I emailed the lady that talked to me and set me up in the beginning 5 times with no response.  Its funny that when they wanted the metal they would call back within an hour.  This was a small amount of money compared to the cost of going after them but I have started a case with the attorney general and the BBB because I don't want this happening to anyone else.  I have luckily saved all the email and correspondence.  Buyer beware they may take your metal but you may not get paid.

I have been scammed by this company.....don't use them. They picked up material for which I was to be paid the next day. Despite many attempts to be paid, I have received nothing, and I can't get a return phone call. I suppose if you're looking to give metals away, they will be right on time and you'll get it removed. But, if you are looking to be paid for the material, don't count on it.

Terrible service. Meeting on a Thursday promised pick up on Monday.....yet to see them even with many phone calls to find out what is going on......or in this case, NOT. Not even a return phone call. Pitiful.

EZ Recycling got the job done i need a machine removed they brought their own equipment loaded and paid me on site i recomend Ez Recycling they saved me time and cut down cost some recycling compaines wanted to charge me and others where not able to get to it this week. EZ was there on time and paid me per ton it was easy.

My experince was easy they where at my facility rich away the removed all the scrap steel cut it down to size and paid me off of LME I recommend using EZ Scrap Metal their service was appreiated I'm sticking with EZ these guys know what there doing thanks EZ!

I recommend EZ recycling they where At our facility in 30 minutes they offered us higher than the place down the street and loaded everything themselves and paid us right on site it was pretty easy thanks EZ recycling
