The Chicago Christian Academy is an outreach ministry of the Evangel World Outreach Center. The academy is a day care and elementary school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It conducts classes in science, math, foreign language, music, physical education, computer literacy and art. Founded in 1950, the Chicago Christian Academy maintains a parent-teacher organization, as well as offers food options for breakfast and lunch. The academy provides several before- and after-school programs, as well as is a member of the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools. It accepts the Child Care Assistance Program offered through Illinois Action for Children.
