I have a daughter in-law at glen elston for the past 7 years, we were very happy at Glen Elston until Charlee left , Now Charlee is back and there is a new administrator and so many nice and blessed events and changes are being made at Elston. When something needs to be done this new administrator and Charlee have it done before you can ask a second time. These are caring people who put the residents first. Ive seen them there at 7:00 a.m. and still there at 8:00 p.m.. The only real problem at Elston is that they still let a certain nurse work there but her manners are better since new administrator & Charlee are there.

Recently my mother in law stayed at GlenElston before she passed away on hospice. I must say, I was very satisfied. Our family was going thru a hard time knowing the reality of her condition and their staff was very caring...and they even had meetings with our entire family to update us on her status whenever we asked. My mother in law was typically a picky-eater but she loved the food, and built a relationship with Beryl. Kathy was absolutely fabulous and visited her daily to check-in on her. Thank you to everyone there! We appreciate everything you did!

All these positive comments are fake....these are from people at corporate office...Face it everything in this place is upside down and Vivian will never get fired even after all the complaints and grievances for some reason they will never affect her so there's no need for people to keep wasting their time trying to get her fired because it is impossible!!!...And what happened to the activities in this place they are virtually invisible, they do very little to stimulate the minds of these patients, I guess its just easier to sit around and talk rather than doing your job

I put my great grandmother in GlenElston and she loved it. GREAT Care from the nursing staff. They were available whenever my grandmother needed assistance...or if I had any questions I needed answers. The activities are GREAT! My grandmother loved playing WII, bingo, and participating in their outings to the zoo...mall...and other places. The room she had was semi-private and she absolutely loved her roomate who also spoke Polish (they have an excellent Polish program). Great place to put your loved one!

Glen Elston ranks on the bottom of the list. Even the CNA's and nurses sleep at night! The bathrooms rank just ahead of outdoor facilities. Fighting, smoking, neglect, and obnoxious nurses are the activities of the day. Don't go on the second or third floors unless you're armed. Don't be fooled by the one room they show you that your loved ones might be in.

i donate several items here and visit the residents when i can the activity department here used to be the best i ever saw a few years ago and now there is nothing ever going on the residents never have anything to do i feel really bad for these residents this place is in desparate need for volunteers i dont even think there is a activity staff i never see anyone and i come a few times a week at all times
