The most unprofessional medical professional Ive ever worked with.Was sent here after I received chemical exposure related to gas poisoning at my apartment, which left me with a host of symptoms.She started off by questioning why I was seeing her in the first place. She was condescending and rude the whole time. She was very judgmental. More importantly, I cane out of 5-6 sessions perplexed with what her value add was. She didnt give me recommendations, didnt offer me tools, and didnt provide any helpful suggestions. Just criticized me and questioned my motives.I stopped seeing her when she asked me if my mom was making me go to these visits. As an adult, this was the most wildly unprofessional treatment Ive ever received from a medical professional.Elaine might be right if you cant afford an out of pocket top notch psychiatrist in Chicago and are suffering from an addiction, but doesnt have the tools to help with most matters.Unprofessional, rude, and wildly inappropriate. Doesnt have an effective toolset. I knew more than her about meditation and behavioral strategies. Im not exaggerating. Her training and understanding of helping people is objectively weak compared to top practitioners.I hope you see this Elaine and dont replicate my experience for others.
