We would never recommend this Hyde Park Edible Arrangements location. My elder brother and his wife, who lives in a different city, ordered a large Mother's Day Edible Arrangement for my mother, who is 93 years old. He has always gotten wonderful arrangements from other locations in his city. The arrangement from the Hyde Park Chicago location arrived three days before Mother's Day. The fruit in the arrangement, while beautifully arranged, was both dry/old looking or very unripe. The whole arrangement was just not edible! My mother was so disappointed! The fruit arrangement looked as if it had been made up days in advance. I called and asked for a replacement. I got little or no cooperation from the stores staff. I even had a hard time finding out if the Hyde Park location was the store that delivered it. When I finally discovered that they had, after three calls; I was promised a replacement delivery on or before Mother's Day but when I called to confirm I got the run around. They store personnel complained that they were too busy to bring out another arrangement. The young woman who kept answering the phone refused to give me her manager's last name and he refused to come to the phone as well. Needless to say, my mother never received a replacement arrangement or a call from the store manager with an apology. Rest assured my brother's charge card was indeed charged for the arrangement despite the fact that we never ate the arrangement.
