Founded in 1980, the East Bank Club is a fitness, sports and dining facility. The Club serves the fitness needs of Chicagoans. East Bank Club is situated at 500 North Kingsbury Street in the heart of Chicago's River North area. Founder and Chairman of The Habitat Company, Daniel Levin, and James P. McHugh, CEO of James McHugh Construction Co developed the club. The East Bank Club's facilities include a quarter-mile indoor running track; eight indoor tennis courts; four racquetball courts; a squash court; a platform tennis court; a 20,000-square-foot cardiovascular room; free weight room; five aerobics studios; wellness center; physical therapy; 60-bike spinning studio; four swimming pools including two indoor, two outdoor; two regulation-size basketball courts; an indoor golf driving range; pro shop; dry cleaner; full-service salon and spa; children's activity center; car wash; casual grill; gourmet deli; restaurant; catering facilities; juice bar; and 60,000 square-foot sun deck. The club now encompasses more than 450,000 square feet.
