I would like to introduce myself as Dr. Samantha Zoltek-Skik, DMD. My calling into the field of dentistry occurred at a young age when I realized that dentistry goes beyond the dreaded tooth ache. I was intrigued by dentistry’s unique ability to provide immediate pain relief, to diagnose systemic conditions that first appear in the mouth, to treat malnutrition with the fabrication of dental prostheses, to resolve speech problems, and to treat patients’ insecurities through the artistic transformation of their smiles. I had the privilege of obtaining my degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from Midwestern University College of Dentistry in Downers Grove, Illinois, a university continuously evolving its curriculum in order to stay up to date with the rapid technological advancements occurring within all branches of dentistry. This allowed me to learn new and improved techniques and skills to better serve my patients. One of the greatest things that my clinical experience has taught me is that no two treatment plans can be the same. Each patient comes in with different dental goals and needs that I feel can only be addressed with an individualized and personalized treatment plans while maintaining the highest quality of dental care. I look forward to taking the time to sit down with my patients and customize unique treatment plans that will address all of their needs according to their desired approach and pace. Beyond my education, I am a proud member of various dental organizations including the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Women Dentists, and the American Dental Association, all which continue to enhance my dental education. I am confident that my clinical skills, communication skills, positive attitude, and deep-rooted passion for dentistry will allow me to deliver passionate, comprehensive, esthetic, and reliable dental care to adults and children.
