When I first went to see her I was very excited because I was recommended by a very trusted doctor. I came into her office a half an hour early which she was surprised that I came in at 9 o'clock. She said she can squeeze me in since my apointment wasn't until 930. When I first went into the room she sent me in the chair and she asked me "what do you think it is?" And I was a little confused because normally the doctor will look at it and then come to a conclusion and try to figure out ways to handle it. She first asked my opinion on what I thought it was and I told her based on my opinion from Google..... She then went to ask me if I was in high school...I found the strange because I was wondering why she was asking me for my age...I begin to tell her no I just graduated college I'm 23 years old. That was beside the point on why I came in......I begin to ask her questions which she started to feel uneasy because I was asking simple questions since I did not know anything with the medical procedure and what I would need to do. She then asked me why I had so many questions...well...this is also a reason why I came to see her wasn't it? To ask these questions to a doctor that would know...well before she even told me was wrong she said I had to go into surgery to get it out...just a reminder this is a small little mole on my stomach...I found this a little odd so I told her I would be right back and I needed to call my dad to talk to them about stuff (since my dad is in the medical field...but I didn't tell her this...). When I got back she had horrible bedside manner. Told me I was acting like a kid because I was asking too many questions about what was wrong. She then began to tell me that I was acting like a victim with asking too many questions. she told me that she thought I was questioning her ability but all I was asking for questions about what was wrong with the mole on my stomach...simple little questions that she wouldn't answer. She was never giving me a straight answer she was always going around the actual problem. I left the office but as I was walking away something didn't feel right so I went back in and I told her that this was the worst experience I've ever had...she was very ageist towards Me...was unexpectable. I came into the offic trusting her but was never able to build that trust because she would explain things as if I was questioning her ability...but I was not whatsoever. It's simple questions since I am in the Fashion industry and have no knowledge in the medical field. When I came back in to tell her I was uncomfortable with what happened...I did record the conversation to prove that she was being defensive when she didn't need to be and was not open to questions. When you go to a doctor...you come to them open minded and ready to hear their answers...she was rude and kept repeating "you are acting like a child by asking..."what is this...how will u do this...what's the next thing.....".... I can not begin to explain how unsatisfied I was and how she belittled me. I do have this all recorded on video.
