never again.

I was Refered to this place by my dentist out here in roundlake beach. When I got there the ladies up front were super rude and didn't seem to have time to sign you in or answer any questions. They took my insurance and id and never gave it back to me they had it thrown all in a pile with the rest of them. Also they ignore you when your standing there trying to ask a question or make a payment, very rude. The nurses in back are also rude they talk to you like your stupid and have a major attitude, I would not recommended this place for anyone. Although the actual doctor was really nice and comforting the other customer service was very poor! And the waiting times are ridiculous, I waited 3 hours to be seen, which is absolutely ridiculous.

It's widely known that people ...

It's widely known that people have more motivation to leave negative reviews then people do for good service. And common sense tells you no matter where you go, there are going to be mess ups & upset people. It happens at the best of hospitals and offices. Despite my knowledge of that, I admit I was a nervous wreck going here. I had to travel from the far northwest suburbs, away from my nice dentist offices I am used to because the government cut funding and I needed to get my tooth extracted and no one closer would do it for me. So already upset about that, the reviews on every website didn't help.

When I first called them, they got me in two days later.

Upon going in, I really didn't see how it was so dirty as other people have said. It's an older Chicago building. A good paint job could be had, but honestly this was nice compared to a dentist I even had out here. Inside the rooms, everything was bright and in their sterile packaging.

There were many people waiting, and it was a bit tough to get the staff to hand me a pencil to sign in, but that was it. They got me back pretty quick for an x-ray (First time I ever had one that circled around my head and take it, as opposed to taking a bunch of pictures)

Went back to the waiting room, and then was called in about 5 minutes later. What I realized is if you had an appointment, you did step in front of all the walk-ins.

Dr. W. and her two assistants that helped were beyond kind, and trying to put me at ease. The extraction was super fast and painless after the Novocaine shots. It took longer for her to ask me if there was a way I can find money for a root canal, because she didn't want me to just lose a tooth if I didn't have to. But until I get a job I couldn't, but I thought it was nice of her to try to explore that option with me first. Within an hour I was in and out with a package of gauze, instructions and pain medications. My train ride there was longer then that.

My experience was really good, and I wish more people would leave good comment so not everyone is scared away.

I appreciate the services offered

I had to have an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. I called several times to ask many questions on their walk-in policy and each time received excellent help. The nurses clearly knew that I was the same person calling each time and continued to offer me friendly service. I was eventually able to even schedule an appointment due to the distance that I had to drive to this facility. After arriving I was quickly waited on and taken care of. I arrived at the facilty at 10:15 am and was on my way out by 11:45 after having had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. The staff was kind and friendly through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable with what was going to happen.

I know I have seen some people complain about the cleanliness of the facility but I must say that I was not upset by what I saw. This facility is primarily of service to low income families and is used for a large number of patients on a daily basis. Every piece of equipment I saw and the was used on me was sterile and obviously sterile. The facility does appear worn down but I believe this is just from it being a well used facility. Nothing a fresh paint job wouldn't make look better. But who has the time for this when they are busy serving daily those people who are in need.

I am pleased to say I had a good experience overall.

Dr. Horowitz - Horrifying Experience

Please report him ASAP/ We need more parents to stop allowing these "professionals" to do anything they wants to us or our children. I went there and the place was so run-down and dirty that I haven't been back. I received medicaid and they are one of the few that you can take your children to and who accepts the card. Mediciad needs to do a better job at screening these places. I will continue to contact the government regarding these places that we are sent to.

Don't go here

My experience started out great. I was pleased with both dentists who worked on me. Some time after, I received a letter saying I owed them money for one of my visits. I had paid cash (I didnt have insurance at the time) in full for each visit before I left the office. I called to let them know they had made a mistake. The lady in charge of billing (Monica something) wasnt helpful or polite. I understand customer service isnt at the top of the priority list in the medical field, but its important to me. Luckily was able to find my receipt and called her back with the receipt number and was told I had to bring it in. I told her fine. This was an inconvience and it wasnt something I rushed. Then I receive a letter explaining to me why I wouldnt have a receipt. Not once, but twice. Basically saying that I was a liar. Mind you the "non-existent" receipt was in the mail. Then when I was out of town and my room mate gets another call from them saying I owe them money. She explained that the receipt was in the mail. Instead of accepting this, it still wasnt good enough. After explaining that Id get the receipt to her and I'm still being bothered is borderline harassment. I definitely wont be going back there, and I HIGHLY recommend not going there without insurance or if youre paying with cash. And lastly, dont lose your receipt.

Dr. Horowitz - Horrifying Experience

I took my daughter to see this Dentist for a routine wisdom tooth extraction...Dr. Horowitz didn't make her gums numb enough, even after she told him. He says, "oh no she can feel the tooth" and he kept pulling...so my poor child felt everything...If you can afford to take your child some where else I highly recommend that you do so...Plus I plan to report him to the American Dental Association because there was no need for him to cause her that kind of pain.
