I was down on my luck, after the flood had ruined my basement and first floor. So I went to the Devon Pawn shop to pawn a ring and my gold chain to get the money for getting my basement cleaned up. I went to 4 other shops and they got me the most cash. They the best.

I'm usually a little leary on going to a pawn shop but I now understand it's because I've had a very bad misconception of pawn shops. I visited the owner of Devon Pawn Shop with some pretty unique items that I was looking to liquidate and not only did she give me a very good understanding of how everything worked but she gave me a fair price and some ideas on what to do with some other items I had. They gave me cash on the spot which is what I needed and the store was also clean and run by a smart young lady who knew her jewelry and gold. They are busy and non nonsense but they are also helpful and fair and honest which is all I was really looking for.

Great place, very friendly, paid top dollar for my jewelry.
