I made an appointment to have a tattoo done at this place. They asked for a credit card for a deposit which I happily gave. The morning of the appointment I found out that I was pregnant and therefore unable to get a tattoo. My appointment was scheduled for noon which is the time that they open. I called immediately upon finding out that I would not be able to keep my appointment and left a message. I was also courteous enough to call back when they were open to make sure that they received my message and were not waiting for me.

The woman I spoke to was very kind. She congratulated me and told me that when I was able to get the tattoo that they would be there. At no point did she tell me that she was charging my credit card or that the deposit I gave was non-refundable.

When I got my credit card statement I saw that I was in fact charged $50. I called the studio and spoke to a man who was unbelievably rude. I explained to him that I had made the appt. and then had to cancel because I was pregnant and was asked why I was charged. He replied that when I made the appt. they were reserving time for me that they could have been reserving for other clients. I explained that I found out that I was unexpectedly pregnant and did not purposefully intend to cancel the app. His reply was, "That has nothing to do with us it has to do with you." I asked if that was how they made money by charging pregnant women for tattoos they are unable to get? He then told me that we reached the point of the conversation that I was looking for an answer that he was not going to give me and that if I was not willing to listen then there was no need for the call to go on any further.

When I am able to get my tattoo I will NOT go here. I will tell anyone who will listen not to go here.
