My daughter was a returning student..I was very disappointed with this studio in 09, but it is close to my house and that is why my daughter went there....so we figured we'd give it another shot. This is the last time my daughter will ever go there again. This is what I hate about this place. Once you are enrolled and have paid for the costume, they decide to merge classes and change schedules. What once was a 4pm tues class of 8..is now a 5pm thurs class of 13+. Obviously you ca't withdraw and break your daughter's heart...so you have to deal with it. Parents have NNOOO say so in costume choosing at all ( and some are tooo revealing for little girls). You HAVE TO BUY SHOES AND STOCKINGS FROM THEM... This is one the things i find ridiculous...you pay $40 for their tap shoes and the same identical shoes are at Payless for half the price. On recital day....this is the real turn off of this place. About 20 kids are stuffed on stage for one show (classes are merged together). YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING VIDEO CAMERAS AND OF YOU COURSE YOU CAN NOT TAKE PICTURES OF YOU OWN CHILD!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOU CAMERAS!!! THEY WANT TO FORCE PARENTS IN BUYING THEIR VIDEO...WHICH ONLY SHOWS A FEW MINUTES OF YOUR CHILD, IF THEY GET THEM IN THE VIDEO. YOUR CHILD MUST STAY IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA DURING THE WHOLE SHOW...WHAT!!! YEAH PARENTS THEY EXPECT YOU TO LEAVE YOUR CHILD IN THE CARE OF SOMEONE YOU DONE EVEN KNOW FOR 3-4HRS....AND YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED BACK THERE UNLESS YOU ARE A VOLUNTEER.. MY NIECES WENT TO AN AWESOME DANCE STUDIO (TIP TAP TOE).. MY SISTER WAS INVOLVED ALONG WITH THE OTHER MOTHERS PICKING COSTUMES, SHOES, HAIRSTYLES....AND THE RECITAL WAS SPLIT...IN TWO PARTS THE DAY, SO YOU DIDNT HAVE TO SIT THRU A WHOLE SCHOOL RECITAL. AND BEST OF ALL ONE PARENT WAS ALLOWED BACKSTAGE WITH THE STUDENT, THEN YOUR CHILD SAT WITH YOU AFTER THEIR PERFORMANCE....DOES 'NT THAT MAKE MORE SENSE....THESE ARE LITTLE KIDS... I do not recommend Dance Infusion save your money and go somewhere else!!!!
