I placed an order for about $7000 worth of windows. I specifically asked for wood color interior and insulation U factor of .27. Paul, the sales guy said, yes, of course. They came with the windows. NOT all interior is wood color. Paul says only the "part of the interior facing the room can be wood, inside of the interior pieces can be white only with a special order". I asked if my windows were "not special order", and he said, "yes they are, but inside of interior trim would have been extra" (bait and switch). I asked him about the U factor. He said - "oh, those are only for double hungs, not sliders". I reminded him that I specifically asked for u value of .27. He started yelling. I kicked him out of the house. I called Greg, the owner of company, talked to his assistant. Never got a called back. Bait and Switch company. Stay away.

Our condominium building had over 80 windows installed, and several patio doors. The workmen were neat, clean, efficient and on time. The quality of the windows after 2 years is still excellent. The carpentry work to custom fit the windows was superb and we are very satisfied with the work. The have stood behind their work and windows and corrected very the few minor problems immediately. They were more than accommodating with schedule for residents who worked during the week.I would recommend them highly.

We have had Continental do three jobs for us over the past 4 years and in every one they were prompt, efficient, pleasant, affordable, and clean. They gave a competitive quote, finished the job within the time frame they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves and were pleasant to deal with. The windows are of decent quality. We didn't order anything fancy but we feel that we got what we paid for. The majority of workers are Polish (at least the ones who come to work for us) and there is a small language barrier but the excellence of the work overcomes that.

this company sucks. The installers didn't do the job right. All my windows are leaking and two dont even close all the way. Not to mention the mess they left.I called and called they just gave me the runaround. I had to hire another window company to fix the poor installation. Look out. Once they get you money you are on your own!!!!Pissed off in Chicago

Dont just fool by cheap price. Bad customer service, and tricky. If you decide to go with this, be very cautious.

You have to be very careful when dealing with this. We had the windows replaced a year ago, and then another one this year. With the promise that they will be the same type, but it turns out to be a cheap one. When trying to contact the customer service, they are not listening, and claimed that it is our mistake to sign the contract without seeing the details that the low-e was not mentioned. We didn't realize that, and assumed that it will be the same as what we had. Also, they made the wrong one last year and trying to pursuade us to accept that, but last we didn't.

I purchased 43 windows from Continental windows and had problems as soon as the installation was complete. The windows were and are defective. The windows were allowed air into my home, their are gaps of more than 1/8 along the sides, and have not met the minimum quality standards the company claims to provide. I have made several calls to service to resolve the issue, and instead of repairing or replacing the defective windows, Continental says their product is fine (despite the fact air leaks from the window) Continental initially acknowledged there was a problem, but later decided the windows were fine. If you want to get quality windows and quality service, I suggest consumers seek companies that honor their warranties and stand behind their products. Continental windows failure to honor the warranty of their product proves they make poor products and provide poor service.

The sales representative from Continental that visited my house was unable to understand what windows I wanted replaced. He gave me a quote that completely misrepresented what the actual deliverable would have been even after repeated visits. Instead I used an independant contractor to quote/install the windows, even though the units were manufactored by Continental.
