I was directed by someone I know to go to Todd to have my taxes done as they were more complicated than usual with a number of stock selling and buying. Todd suggested I pay my taxes in quarterly installments and supplied me with vouchers. The problem was that these were the wrong vouchers. They were for paying takes in the coming tax year, not the current year. As a result, I paid over $800.00 in penalties and fees to the state of Illinois and the IRS. I spent hours on the phone trying to sort out the problems created by the incorrect vouchers. Todd did not respond to numerous emails and phone messages. When I was eventually able to speak to him he simple affirmed that he had given me the correct vouchers. I never received an apology nor did he offer to at least refund his fee for creating the mess he had gotten me in. This is not the place to go if you want your taxes done accurately and responsibly.

Todd was our accountant and despite having all of our tax documents / records / papers by mid-February, failed to complete and file our taxes. Phone messages, e-mails, and formal letters via US postal service were not returned and neither were our records or documents. After April 16th, the office was empty - only an answering machine directing callers to leave a message and/or email Todd or Kim. Todd never filed, never responded to me (or my attorney) and in the end cost us $$$ in late filing fees at the federal and state level. This was tough for me to understand because he was our accountant for many years... After reading through previous reviews, it seems I'm not the only one who was forgotten then ignored.
