Elegant Southern Soul Food restaurant. This place is great for taking someone out on a date, the family or just wanting someplace nice, clean and affordable to sit and eat. I recommend several of my family members to check this place out. THE FOOD IS GREAT!!!!! While I was there Jessie Jackson was having lunch outside. Apparently celebrities have been finding this place. What a treat!!! Hopefully next time I'm visiting I'll see some more famous people. The first time I was there it was a bus load of Swedish people eating and it seemed like they didn't want to leave, cause no sooner then they were finished with there food they ordered more. Watching the reactions of these people eating and enjoying there food made my want to try it even more. I was not disappointed.Elegant Southern Soul Food restaurant. I have never had a bad experience at this place until now. I ordered online and my food was said to be ready at a certain time I get there a little after the time and had to still wait. Not only did I have to wait but the person who went to get my food obviously made a detour and got lost because it took 10 plus minutes to get my food to me even though I WATCHED HER GET MY ORDER READY she just NEVER BROUGHT IT OVER. Then I get my order home and my stuffed chicken omelet was missing the chicken smh never returning. They only got 1 star because I HAD TO GIVE THEM A STAR worst experience ever.

The Chicken was out of this world. The breast was nice and moist not dry like most. The waffles tasted like they were made from scratch you could taste the anise and vanilla flavoring. My son had the green and mac and cheese with his chicken. The restaurant has a nice family atmosphere. We are looking to go back there real soon with others
