My family and I were visiting Chicago and decided to go ahead and do this tour. I have 2 girls age 13 and 16 and a 18 year old boy that is not always easy. Joe and Jordan went out of there way to make us all safe and happy. We had a wonderful tour and cant wait to do it again. Thanks again

We showed up in a rain storm and Jimy took me and my husband out for the full two hours. We refused any chance to take shelter because we were having such a great time. The freezing rain off lake Michigan was a challenge - just keeping our eyes open, but the two hour glide around Grant Park and all the landmarks of Michigan Avenue were the best tour I have ever taken in my life. I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was spectacular! We will do it again, and every year we possibly can. Grant Park was the perfect place. The fall colors and the sculptural trees were unforgettable. We learned interesting things from Jimy, who never lacked for enthusiasm, information and conversation. He was an unforgettable guide - and off to class at the end of the tour. What a guy. I hope he had some dry clothes... we did.

I've always wanted to ride a Segway, and really enjoyed the tour. The staff and tour guide were very nice, and the training session made me feel comfortable on the machine. Give it a try! The tour guide asked whether we were interested in the information portion of the tour (about local landmarks and parks). We mostly just wanted to ride around so she ran through that stuff quickly. Don't pass this up if you live in Chicago!

He made us felt very comfortable and self confident during the training of how to right the segway. He made the procedure so easy and funny that i really enjoyed it. This tour was very fun and informative. The segways are easy to learn how to ride and although we were nervous at first, by the end of the tour we were doing figure eights and not ready to get off. The only thing we would have different was to do this tour at the beginning of the trip, because it gives you an overview of the city and lets you see things that you would want to see closer up later. Oh and other key advice, wear comfortable shoes with some support, we both rode in sandals but wished we had been in tennis shoes.

I had never tried a Segway before, and I had a tremendous time. My boyfriend arranged the trip, and I could not believe how much fun it was. Zooming around on a Segway is even more fun than it looks - and it looks AWESOME. Zack our guide knew some secret paths in the city that we explored, and we got some of our best photos on this tour. An ABSOLUTE must!

I choose a segway tour primarily because I have been on a segway before and loved it and also because I was time limited and had a small window of 1.5 days to see & experience Chicago. I felt the segway tour was a quick and fun way to see the major sights and I didn't want to do the conventional tour-guided bus thing. I had a really great time scooting across Chicago on a Segway.The speed of the segway won't scare you, if anything you will want to go faster at times but generally the pace is good.The staff are very polite and very professional,you will love them.Great Fun and great experience with a lot of memories.

Now that we have done this in our hometown we will do this when visiting other cities. We had out of town guests in from California it was a great introduction to Chicago and then they were able to visualize where else they wanted to go. My kids (16, 19 & 22) want to do the other tour that goes to the zoo. Best part was riding the Segway. We were there 25 minutes ahead of time everyone used the restroom and we started early because the taste was going on and it was very crowded in the streets. Tour guide was fabulous & fun. Recommended for all ages (our group was 16 to 50) everyone had a great time, bring a camera!

We were on a twelve day five city trip, on which we did numerous tours, but the best by far was our Chicago Park Glide Segway tour. Our guide was patient, enthusiastic, interesting, and and knowledgeable about Chicago. During the first few minutes, as you are learning to use the Segways, you are sure that there's no way you will be able to do this well enough to go on a 2-hour, seven-mile tour. However, in no time at all everyone in our group was successful and had a wonderful time. Someone even stopped us to ask how long we had to practice to get so good. I can't wait to do it again sometime.

Joe, our guide, was knowledgable and a lot of fun to be with. We had seven people in our group including Joe, so we were able to ask many questions related to the Chicago Skyline and development of the City of Chicago. In two hours we saw more of Chicago than we could see in a whole day without the Segways. The tour was worth the price! His directions were explicit and easy to understand and follow. Riding the Segways was an experience we will repeat in other cities and look forward to returning to Chicago to "do" the other Segway tours that are available. Only the next time, we will Segway first, then go back to the locations that appeal to us.

We proceeded to take this tour on beautiful Chicago lakefront, Demetrius was so pushy and only wanted us to pay cash. He continued to flirt with the women in our group. No matter what age , he was very persistent. Because of his weirdness, we cannot recommend Chicago Segway Tour Demetris Ttaipis

We wanted to ride the all terrain models they trained us on and were told we couldn't ride them out on the tour! We also wanted to head north towards Lincoln Park Zoo and we couldn't do that. We tried to get our money back and were told NO!!!. Why advertise you travel in that direction and don't go that way! Misrepresentaion all together with this business. We asked for the all terrain models and were told they would be available, but when we got there Joe told us the owner, Demetris had refused us to ride them. He was calling himself Jimmy??? Thought Joe said the owner, has a heavy accent was Demetris??? He assisted Joe with training us and made us feel like we were kids. We were old enough to be his Aunts and Uncles or parents for that matter. What a real JERK!! Will never venture back to this place. Oh yeh- there is no off street parking around there either, it's extremely expensive to park in the lots. Do some homework before venturing outdoors.

Not what we expected. Segwaying is fun, we just wouldn't do this again with this company. We were told we could pay credit, but they charge $7.00 extra bucks for each rider processing your transaction on credit. Suspicious? The owner was persistent to pay cash, dark short guy with heavy accent, they've got all these pictures up with wonderful remarks, probably of their own doing, as it seems suspcious.Joe was our tour guide. We had lots of fun with him. He mentioned the owner will try to shyster you into paying cash. Be sure you don't tip the dark creepy guy, he's the owner (Demetrius), but it's good to tip your guide if they're good. Training was good, but we felt insulted by how condesending Demetrius talked to us, as we were much older than him.It's not rocket science folks, just fun and he made it very tense and stressful. He's very pushy. Once out of his command, Joe took over and it was smooth from that point on. Always check details on training and payment processing, BEWARE!

The tour would have been better if the owner, Demetris who is the little dark guy with a hardly any hair and heavy Greek Accent wouldn't have been so condesending during training or on the tour. They advertise the Northern Tour, but were told we could not take it for construction reasons. Why advertise it if you can't take it. During training he got impatient with us on the mechanics of turns. He was very persistent for us to pay cash.??? credit was a bit higher, so we paid cash. The tour was ok, we really didn't have a choice in colors as they had a handful of segways already lined up. I wouldn't do this tour with this company again something just didn't add up, we were all skeptical of the ethics behind the owner and this company. Chicago is a beautiful city, and Segway are a blast.Will do this again, but with a different company.
