Excellent agency! We booked our Umrah trip through them and must admit despite being nervous, it ended up being so stress free and enjoyable. Everything was organised and managed so well by the whole staff. They booked our airline tickets, arranged our visas, hotel stay and ground transportation. We really had no complaints, since everything just ticked like clock work, Alhumdulillah!

So far my experience has been phenomenal with the company. I have booked a package for Umrah with them and everything related to the booking and arrangements has been exceptionally well. I still have to leave for the Umrah and I hope that once I reach KSA everything will go as planned with the inland travel and hotels.

My husband and I had a wonderful Hajj with this group. What I love most about my Hajj experience is the classes that they had for us during our stay in Madinah. My only wish is that we had more before the Hajj through a series of conference calls, for example through something like FreeConference.com. I enjoyed the emails that were sent to us before the Hajj. I would have liked to receive them at least a month or two before the journey the emails were sent two weeks before the trip. I think one of the emails should be corrected for being at the airport at least 4 hours before the flight from USA. A few Hajji’s had troubles due to connecting flights that were not booked that far in advanced. All in all I felt we were very well taken care of throughout our Hajj Journey. It was truly a journey of a lifetime

Alhamdulilah I completed hajj 2017 with the CHU family. Everything from airport pick up to every stage of hajj was smooth and well planned. I appreciate the CHU team for going above and beyond for every hajjis convenience and comfort. Jazakallah khair to all the amazing staff. Definitely plan on working with this group again inshallah. I have reffered friends and family already!

P.s. loved all my chicago hajj and umrah goodies! Including a quran, umbrella prayer, multiple bags, tasbeeh, ihram for my husband

Great service and arrangements. All the stuff were awasome. Very well organized group. The hotel in Makka is little far but they have their own transportations. Very reasonable price as well. I will highly recommend Chicago Hajj to my friends and family.

Super horrible experience. This company is a rip off. You need to go to a more accredited company for your precious religious Hajj/Umrah visits. They charged our group of 7 people for 10 days trip. We called them (Navaid) on the day we left for Medinah to confirm if everything was reserved and they made us comfortable that YES it is confirmed. When we landed in Madinah and wen to the hotel, the staff of the hotel told us that there was no reservation under our name. Our group of 7 people had to wait on the road in front of Gate # 17 at Haram Medinah for 6 hours while we tried to find another hotel. Paid out of pocket. Up until now, this company has not reimbursed our money. Beware of these thugs.

Very cooperative, very responsible. They know their business and guide you on each and every step. I am 100% satisfied and recommend them for Hajj, Umrah and Travel services.

ZAMIR KOTHAWALA & NAVAID AHMED biggest cheaters & liars





This company is completely a lie. They tell you something else when you reserve and when you get to Medina , you have a big surprise.




I paid them everything upfront . Mr. Navaid Ahmed from Chicago Hajj& Umrah reserved the package of Umrah for me & my family . He quoted a price for a 5 star umrah package . I was promised 5 star hotels with all transportation by a reputable company.

The hotels that were reserved for me were

5 nights in Radisson Bleu

5 nights in Movenpick Mecca.




When we landed in Medina Airport the meet and greet from there company were not there . We had to look for someone who knew something about there company . The person then asked us to pay and I told him it was included .

Then the guy arranged for the taxi and took us to a Leader Hotel. I asked why this hotel so he said Radisson Bleu has been changed 3 years ago . The new hotel is Leader hotel .

We unloaded my luggage and went to the reception of the Hotel and got a surprise that we don't have reservation .




I had my family on the street and they did not care . After making several calls I found out that they reserved the Movenpick Hotel . So now the person who met us at the hotel from "Yamama company " looking for a taxi . He is trying to negotiate the taxi with my luggage and family on the street. Finally made it to Movenpick and was given a room . When we got the room that they had reserved for me and my family, I did not have words .It was standard small and dirty room with 2 beds. They had charged my for a triple room and gave me a standard room . I went to reception and was told that the CHICAGO HAJJ & UMRAH reserved a standard room . They were even surprised on this . I called Navaid Ahmed from Medina , He gave me all the stories and told me I will get you room changed now so I should not worry.

He told me that you & your family stay there and i am sending someone.

I waited for his call and called him again and then they stopped answering . I waited till 1 am with my kids and they did not respond. I finally changed the room on my own and did not use there reservation .




They failed to do anything and the next day I called Navaid Ahmed and he told me that he spoke to Zamir Kothawala and they will issue a refund for this and apologized. He sent me an email saying the same thing to verify on December 16,2016.

Upon returning to US, I sent Mr. Navaid Ahmed /Chicago Hajj & Umrah an email and called him so he told me to call on the January 23rd as Mr. Zamir Kothawala & Asma kahtun khotawala went to investigate the problem in Medina.

I called back on January 24th , Mr. Navaid Ahmed told me that Mr. Kothawala is ready to cut the check so call him . I called him but as usual no response .




I called Mr. Navaid Ahmed again and he told as someone took there money& ran away with there money and have cheated them . So all I get is a apology. He kept on going back and forth with the issues .




After speaking to hime for 1 hour 30 mins , he kept on appologizing and refused to stand by there word. He also admitted there were 5 other families that they did the same thing to them .




He also told me on your next trip ZAMIR KOTHAWALA has a special discount .




I have filed complains with several authories of there illegal practice.




Stay away from the misrepresentation of Navaid Ahmed ,& Zamir kothawala.




I dont think you need a this company to book for you and cheat you out of your money. Once they get your money they will not answer your phone.

By the grace of Allah our experience of Hajj thru Chicago Hajj & Umrah was excellent. Brother Zamir & his team were very cordial & helpful. Everyone at the package department, ticketing department, visa department & the team at Makkah & Medina made every single effort in making our hajj a life time experience. Naveed Ahmed at the ticketing department is very professional & works with full dedication. He is always availabe over the phone & replies all the emails which are very informative. He always put extra effort in giving us the best deals. We are grateful to brother Zamir who stood by all the Hajis & made sure that everything worked out smoothly & efficiently. Every member of CHU has done a great job and their efforts are beyond 100%. The CHU team was there to help & was like a family to us. I really appreciate Brother Zamir as a leader & thankful to him & his team for making our hajj a memorable affair. I will in sha allah recommend CHU to all my family & friends.

Chicago Hajj and Umrah is a very well organized very friendly company. They not only help you travel to Saudi but also make sure that you are comfortable and have a great experience. The review below I strongly disagree with. I sent my parents with this company, they are honest and professional with their work. I know brother Zamir very well and he made sure that my parents did not go through any difficulty. The process was also easy and stress free. We communicates by email which was fast and efficient. I'm not sure why no good reviews are showing up for this company. They may be hidden, but do not be misleads by this. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Saudi to go with Chicago Hajj and Umrah. It is sad what they did last year to several of the hajis. Zamir took a calculated risk that the Saudi government would let hajis in after the deadline date. They didn't. Several hajis got turned back from London. Instead of making it right, Zamir Kothawala has never apologized, never taken responsibility for his actions,never returned their money. Instead he's resorted to telling lies about the incident, leaving fake reviews online, hired lawyers to protect himself, and asked these people for more money. The truth is several people in 2013 paid him $6000 per person, never got to do hajj, and Zamir did not refund any part their money. Please avoid this morally corrupt company at all costs. There are better hajj agencies in the USA. Check the Saudi hajj ministry to find some.. If you must go with them here is some advice... DO NOT sign the terms and agreements... It is unfairly written and leaves you with no way to ever get resolution when things go south. Also, pay with a Credit Card and as late as possible. Visa and MasterCard offer quite a bit of protection when it comes to transactions like this. You can do a chargeback and get most (if not all) of your money back when Chicago Hajj does not deliver. Finally, please be very careful. Chicago Hajj can put you out of your dreams of a hajj for a very long time.

We are situated near Florida, USA and we have been performing Hajj every two year period, Alhamdulillah! After having a bad experience with other travel agencies, we found the Chicago’s Hajj tourism company. Although they were new to us, but we took a risk and found ourselves on the safe side. And Alhamdulillah thanks to almighty and you guys did a fabulous job which made our Hajj very good and memorable one.

Assalam o alykum! It was a good journey, all the facilities, accommodation, staff cooperation were really good. We really enjoyed the trip. Hope we will get another chance to perform our Umrah this year soon. INSHA ALLAH! But still we think that the Umrah Package of Economy one should be a bit more down in price. Hope you will give the best facility again.

Asalam o alaikum! All the arrangements were fabulous. It was from the beginning and my family and I were a bit depressed that how we are going to perform our Hajj because we all were new to that place and have never been to that place. We didn’t know anything about food places, mosques and also taxi stands, but Chicago Hajj made a fabulous trip and helped us 24/7. Amazing trip it was.
