Provided by YP.comI have been a customer of Chicago Cat Clinic for over a year and spent in excess of $1000.00 in fees, but apparently asking for a refill of prednisone was too much for them to handle. They demanded a blood test costing $80.00 for a refill of the prescription which cost $10.00. Also, at other times they would want a blood test for no reason, My cat isn't sick why do you want a blood test. They would become surly or offended. You have to watch them constantly or they will inflate the bill with any number of possible charges. They are not to be trusted. Even lf you think you have a vet you can trust they will try to give you a vet you've never seen before and so the game begins again. I will not be going back to this clip joint.

I have not gone to the Chicago Cat Clinic for a few years. My cat was diabetic and I took him there 'cause it was so highly recommended. I had gone to see Dr Stein. I was told the whole time I went there that she was either on vacation or out sick. No one was honest. They could have said she wasn't coming back. I experienced a sloppy attitude in the vets I did see there. They did keep me coming back 'weekly' for a glucose test for months. My cat never should a sign of getting his diabetes under control and they were indefferent. Another client mentioned to me that Dr Stein had just passed away. I'm really happy with the clinic I'm going to now. The Roscoe Village A.H. on Clybourn Ave.For a place that specializes in cats didn't seem anything special at all.

I've been taking my cats to this clinic for over 20 years. The staff still carries on in the tradition of Dr. Stein. They are caring, thorough and deicated to keeping cats healthy and vital. I've had to have several of my cats put down over the years, and the people at the clinic felt as badly as I did over what had to be done. They are current on all cat health issues and I trust them fully!

Provided by YP.comHad bad experience with this clinic. Previously had been there for non-emergency visits that were fine. Disappointed in the way things were handled when my cat became very ill. Actually shocked at how information was presented to me; did not explain things well. Felt as if the vet took no interest in helping my cat. Took my cat to a different vet and he was confident in his skills, informative about treatment options and plans, and took the time to listen.
