The company was inspired by the movie Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks. The restaurant also has other locations in Florida, California and South Carolina. Bubba Gump Shrimp features a menu that is shrimp-heavy, with popcorn shrimp, jumbo shrimp cocktail, Cajun shrimp, peel-and-eat shrimp, ping pong shrimp, coconut shrimp, shrimp pasta, shrimp with scallops and shrimp po boys.

The food was pretty good, although the shrimp was undercooked in one dish, our server didn’t ask us trivia, didn’t inform us that we took our used sticky glasses off the table and didn’t get brand new, and I found that it’s not worth coming back.

Love me some good shrimp!! this place was amazing! My only complete was the service was a-little rude and slow.

As I am not a lover of sea food its surprising that I have been here at all, but I have and for a person who doesnt like sea fod there was enough on the menu to keep me happy. Its more of a tourist plave though.
