Never, Never, Never Rely on these people.

I've been trying to get this business to make a simple storm window for the past year. The first two copies they made did not fit the sash, and the last copy had sharp exposed edges. After they've had the window for 8 months and kept saying it's almost ready, they informed me that they had lost the order.



Brilliant.



I've been waiting now for 5 weeks for a simple replacement, and every time I go in to pick it up, they tell me they:

1. don't know where it is

2. can't get to where it its stored

3. are not sure if it has been made



Take your pick of any of the above excuses and you will understand the level of disservice they are accustomed to shoveling out. Horrible people.

Still waiting for a window........

POOR Customer SERVICE! 2 and 1/2 hours late on agreed appointment.......Called several times and lied to, each time was told the technician is on his way and should be at my house in 10 minutes...last time I called I was told he stopped to get lunch.....VERY FRUSTRATING WHEN YOU MAKE ARRANGEMENTS AROUND WORK....If you have all day to waste and doing multiple things then use them...

I do not recommend that you use the services of Beverly Glass. Here is my experience:

Jan. 24th I take my bathroom windows to have new glass put in. Told 7-10 days. Call in approximately 2 weeks (1st of Feb) after no response. Finally I am told they do not have enough the glass I chose. Have to get from distributor, about 2 weeks. Call in 2 weeks (mid Feb). Am told distributor is still waiting for shipment from Asia. Call end of Feb. Am told the glass has arrived but does not look like the sample I chose. I go in on Sat. 3/1 to look at it. Store closed at noon. GO in on Monday 3/3, look at glass, looks very different, so I go back to the original glass that was in my window. Am told it will be ready Friday, 3/7. Go on spring break, have emergency appendectomy, and call 3/17 when I return. Am told it will be ready in the afternoon, they will give me a call. Call Thursday 3/20, am told they don’t have glass in stock, two more weeks. At this point I am no longer cooperative and when I get upset I am lied to and told that I was informed the glass was not in stock. No apologies for them keeping me waiting for almost two months. By this time my bathroom contractor is long gone from the job and growing impatient so they can come back for one day and finish the project. I chose to go pick up my window frames rather than continue this charade. Plus I am worrying about if they did something to my frames.

Please do not use or recommend their services. I had read one bad review while I was researching them on the Internet but I ignored it. I was hoping that since they were located in the Beverly area that they would have an expertise and supplies to restore old buildings. I have a very common bathroom glass (florex) used in that time period that should not have been this difficult to obtain. I did not have a big job. One would wonder if anything is in stock if I am looking for only two panes of glass.

Ok. After I had decided to give them my business, I had them to come give me an estimate. I had 2 locations with one just 2 blocks from them. It took them 2 days just to do the one around the corner and another couple of days to look at another property. Then on that Thursday, they said they had the estimate but the owner had it. They would call me that evening (didn't happen). Friday I called and still no estimate from the measurements they supposedly took. Said again they will call me back (did not happen). Saturday, a new girl answers phone (very rude) and states that she does not see anything about my estimate & the owner is out of town. Asked when did he leave & she said yesterday. I advised that I have gone a week with a broken window in the middle of winter and she said we are busy and did not seem concerned. Advised they must not want my business and she did not care. Rudely told me to go somewhere else which I did do. Will never recommend this place. Not even to my worse enemy!!!!!!

They put me on hold forever when I first called. But she was courteous when she came back. Gave me estimate based on my measurements but made plans for they to double check. They were pleasant & will get my business.
