They showed me few apartments and we finalized with one. 2 days later we signed the application with apartment savvy and paid 1st month rent and a $$ for application fee. Since I had signed the application form, I started selling my things in home and arranged for movers too.
I did not got any call from them for few days and when I called them they said they were not able to contact the land lord (?!). Later they called me again and said the owner got changed and the new owner is asking for $$ more for rent and $$$ as moving fee which was not told before. At this time I had already informed my current land lord that I will move out and I had rejected all other good apartments which came after I sighned here. I did not got any proper response from these guys and all I was able to do was to get my money back from apartment savvy and start seach for home from the scratch again. These guys are totally useless. Beware, you will loose your money and time!!

The first time I used Apartment Savvy was in 2006. Moving from Michigan to Chicago for law school, I needed to find an apartment that was cheap and reasonably located. I spoke to an Apartment Savvy rep. and told her I was from Michigan; perhaps instinctively, she toured me through Lincoln Park with which, having stayed in Lincoln Park for my many Chicago new years trips, I was almost immediately familiar. In less than an hour I found a studio (student budget!) on Fullerton, perfect distance from bus stops, the Red Line, the park, zoo, beach, etc. The experience was great and I enjoyed my stay there for three years.I used Apartment Savvy again after law school to "move up," and again Apartment Savvy's representative was able to place me in something just-right in one trip.With two great experiences, I would recommend Apartment Savvy to anyone moving into town or relocating.

I came into town looking for an apartment. I only had a short amount of time so I found apartment savvy and I couldn't have been happier with my choice!!I was able to find a nice apartment for a reasonable price!Being from a different city I didn't know where I should look so it was helpful having someone else that knew the city better than I.

I was having a hard time finding a place and I was moving fro another state, and having a leasing agent who knew the area really took a lot of the stress out of the process. I was able to look at what they had available in their website so I could come in with some things in mind, and the agent took me around the city so I could see the neighborhood the apartment was in. I could really make a good decision about where I was going to live. I would definitely call them again.

I just used Apartment Savvy to find my new apartment in the Depaul area. I was in a hurry to find a place before the fall semester started, so I decided to give Apartment Savvy a shot.They took me to 5 apartments in the area that were all in my price range. Less than a week later I was moving into my new apartment just in time for school. I would definitely use them to find my next apartment.

My experience with Apartment Savvy was beyond terrible. I would like to first state that I used Apt. Savvy 2 years ago for help finding an apartment and while not completely satisfied I was willing to give them a second chance, and boy was that a mistake. To make a very long 4 days saga short my roommates and i contacted apartment savvy based on an ad that we saw on craigslist. The day of our appointment our agent, Melissa, told us that unfortunately the unit we called about already had an application in but she had some other places to show us. After sitting for about 30 minutes Melissa took us back to explain the apartments she had to show us. From a list of 10 she could possibly show us 3 and still hadn't made the appointments even after keeping us waiting for 30 minutes. Don't these companies ask you the information in advance so they can be prepared? Well she was not.
