While the location is wonderful and the building is cute, I would not suggest this location. The elevator is constantly going out. The kitchen is essentially non-existent (if you plan on making anything more involved than popcorn I'd turn back now). There is also quite a bit of Cubs traffic and congestion for a large part of the year. The landlord is interesting to put it nicely. She is lacking in fundamental social graces. This would not be a problem but she lives in the building and is usually in the front hallway gossiping about former tenants, swearing loudly, and stopping anyone who tries to pass by for long chats. Though the price is pretty good for the area, the poor service and lack of space aren't worth $700.
