We moved from Bartlett to Huntley in 2009 and hired Able Moving Inc to move us. They arrived 2 hours late and took 14 hours to load, drive and unload. Maybe because they decided to take a break to talk every 10 minutes. As they were unloading, they broke several pieces of furniture. I told them I was not going to pay for all the time they took off to do nothing. I filed a claim and was given the run around for months and then they stopped answering my calls. I have been out of this money for years and still very angry about their service. I don't know how they are still in business.

Just to give my recommendation to use these good movers, in my move they were punctual, kind and I was amazed about their expertise in handling our items and how organized they were. My stuff arrived in good condition and in promised time. The honored the quote that I got at the beginning, no extra charges took place, they delivered all they promised.

These movers are the worst ever. We moved out of state and and they delivered my home in two seperate shipments, 3 1/2 weeks apart from each other. They piggybacked my first shipment with another home and ran out of space on the truck. They then made up a lame excuse and said sorry we forgot the rest. They then threatened to write it off for 30 cents a pound because they did not want to make a second trip after I complained about the wait. They then put an ad on craigslist to hire inexpierenced movers to unload the truck when it finally arrived. We had three men that did not ever move a house before. We had things that were broken and other things that did not even show up. To top it off, able refuses to pay for the things they broke. These guys are crooked and I would not waste your time and money when there are so many other better options out there.
