I had the almond encrusted walleye, fries and salad with green goddess dressing others recommend, and it was flavorful and filling. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. They use plastic glassware and dressing containers to keep down cost. Wait staff knowledgeable, efficient and kind. Very busy during a Friday night during Lent, which is to be expected. It is a family run independent restaurant, and we like that. Great place to meet for dinner with friends!

A Must Try

We happened on the Yellowstone Cafe by chance because of a Entertainment Book coupon. My husband and I like to try new restaurants and this one looked intriguing. The first time that we went I wanted to try something different than the usual steak, etc. so I asked the waitress about the walleye fish and she said it was their specialty. The first bite said it all! It was fantastic and unfortunately I let me husband try it and now I have to share everytime we go (LOL). I would definitely recommend this restaurant and the walleye.
