I developed a bulging disc between L4 & L5. I was unable to move unassisted for two weeks. I tried a Chiropractor and my regular GP. I was referred here by a friend. They got me started on a regime of physical therapy to strengthen the muscles around my core to take the pressure off my spine. Their first path of treatment was to address the problem, NOT mask it with pain meds! Short term it was rough, long term I still keep up with the exercises 3 years later and have not had any additional down time.
