After being a customer of this salon for several years, I am shocked by the way I was treated by an OWNER, Joan. I have gone to Kelli for years for my highlights, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs highlights, so this review in no way pertains to her.
I have had long hair for about 3 years, and decided I wanted to make a change and have an angled hair cut that was right below my collarbone. The individual who cut my hair was hesitant and explained what I wanted would not be possible unless I went much shorter. The hair cut that I wanted I have had in the past, so I felt that it was possible, but since she did not feel it would look good, I said to cut it right below my collarbone and that would be fine. What I ended up with was a trim, so I said I wanted to come back for an actual change and I did so. During our second consultation, I said I wanted it to be at least below my shoulders and it ended up to be at the nape of my neck which was MUCH shorter than we agreed on. I left cordially and not in an upset way AT ALL even though I was not pleased with my hair cut. I posted to my PERSONAL Facebook page that my hair looked like I had been in a fight with a lawnmower to bring humor to the whole situation because it is only hair. In this post, I never referenced who cut my hair or what salon. It was a joke. My hair did not look that bad, but it was not at all what I wanted.
Fast forward 6 weeks, and I receive my text from the salon to confirm my appointment for THIS Saturday and I did so. It was for a partial highlight with Kelli before my upcoming vacation to Mexico. Shortly after confirming my appointment, I get a call from the owner who says she is surprised that I have kept my appointment. She says the salon told her that I always leave in tears, and that they did not feel comfortable doing my hair any longer. First, I have NEVER left the salon in tears because hair is not that serious. The only thing I want to cry about is how much I spend there every 6 weeks because the salon is very expensive. Second, if they felt this way, the KIND thing to do would be to at LEAST call right after my last appointment so I had 6 weeks to find someone else before my vacation. Third, for an owner to not care that someone left their salon unhappy is totally unacceptable and speaks VOLUMES of their customer service. IF I had left unhappy, why would I come back every 6 weeks AND leave a tip? The truth is, I wouldn’t. The ONLY reason this owner does not want me back is because they are mad that I made a Facebook post about my experience and that I “blasted” them on social media. Again, I never once said who cut my hair, and I never said what salon I went to. I was even going to go back to the individual who had cut my hair because I actually thought they did a fine job on the cut, it just wasn’t what I wanted.
So, thanks to the owner, I will be scrambling to find someone to do my hair 2 days before I leave for vacation because they did not have the decency to call me 6 weeks ago, and just thought I would never show up to my appointment. I didn’t “blast” you on social media before, and I was going to continue coming back to your salon. Now, I’ll be sure to let everyone know how your salon really operates. I sincerely hope you treat your future customers better, Joan, and learn from this experience.

Please don't waste your money at this salon. Each and every little service is separate which runs the bill way up. No integrity or work ethics, horrible customer service. Receptionist is very rude and snobby. If you like yellow, purple, pink, and even orange hair, this might fit the bill. All those girls' hair look awful. Terrible to have to stand up, like in your bathroom, and blow dry and style your own hair! The styling area looks cheap and the blow dryers will burn your hair up.

Although this salon is very pricey, it is worth every dime. I get my hair cut by Meredith and my color by Audrey and they do an incredible job. Remember ladies, you get what you pay for.

The stylists at this salon are not god at adding highlights to dark hair. Three attempts to fix terrible orangey streaks and I had to spend more money at another salon. While there, I also saw 2 blonde highlight attempts being repaired also. Beware! For the price and reputation I would've expected better.
