We bought our garage doors from Chattanooga Doors several years ago and were very happy with the company and the doors. This morning a spring broke on one door, so I called for a repair. The repairmen were booked for the next three days, but I couldn't lift the door to get the car out, so someone came out to open the door for me. It was the end of the day, so he went ahead and repaired the door while he was at it. He was very nice about it, as was the lady I spoke to on the phone. The service was great and the price was quite reasonable.

There is not enough space to give Chattanooga Garage Doors all the compliments they deserve. Not only were they the lowest quote, but they included many extras that the other local companies added as an additional charge. I had a worn out door with a broken opener. They not only replaced the door and opener within 2 weeks, but also had a service tech come up and fix the existing door so it would open and close for me. They were prompt, efficient and left my garage area spotless. They made sure I knew how to operate the new opener and programmed my car for me. I would recommend Chattanooga Garage Door for all your garage door needs. Don't even waste your time with other estimates!

Several years ago we replaced our garage door and opener with a new energy efficient door and opener. Two weeks ago a nearby lightning strike damaged the opener. A service call brought a prompt response by a very knowledgeable, courteous technician, known only to me as Dan. Within a very short time he had diagnosed the problem, repaired the opener and had the door operating like new. The charge was reasonable and the service excellent.

I appreciate the service and attention I always get from Chattanooga Garage Door. I highly recommend this company and its personnel.

Thank you.

GREAT GARAGE DOORS!!

We had 20+ year old wooden garage doors very much in need of replacing. Chattanooga Garage Door just installed the SONOMA doors with the carriage style hardware to our garage entry. Not only are they beautiful, but significantly lighter with good insulating qualities ( I can already tell a difference in the temperature in the garage).

The installation was great, good fit with sealing gaskets done by a seasoned professional.

AND the price was reasonable!

Good doors, horrible garage door opener

My wife and I bought two garage doors from Chattanooga Garage Door a few years back. We were very happy with the garage doors and the installation - it's a good company, and the insulated doors still look like new. However, don't under any circumstances let them sell you one of those M-Line garage door openers. We bought one, and they assured us we'd soon be back to get the second. Instead we're looking to replace that one with a cheap Stanley or Sears model. The M-Line is quiet. However, every time we open the damned door we have to allow ten minutes or so to persuade it to close. It started cranky and has progressively gotten worse, and about half the time we simply give up and manually close it. In this case there is nothing to prevent it from being manually opened from the outside, so we have to hunt long bolts to slide through to prevent it from opening. About 7 or 8 times out of 10 the garage door will simply not go down. And G-d help you if the beam gets blocked, even on the way up. It continues on up, but after that refuses to go down or even up again. I'm wearing out the circuit breaker resetting the opener, and so sick of that blinking noise that it almost drives me to break things. The M-Line opener is not the bottom of the barrel; it is not even the dirt beneath the barrel. It does not deserve to even be in a sentence with the word "barrel". It is that bad.

Great company, great doors, horrible openers.
