The owner did my hair and it look great!! She is one of the best hair stylist in the shop and very nice. The prices are affordable. They are open 7 days a week; which work great with my busy schedule. I would go again!

***BEWARE OF "SO CALLED BRAIDER" KEKE***

First of all, this salon supposedly has many locations! I was calling the Sunset location for approximately a week with no answer. Finally, I called another location and got the owner (who is extremely rude and cocky by the way). I told her that I wanted to schedule an appointment with one of her braiders for senegalese twists and asked for a price. She told me they start at $100, so I scheduled an appointment for the following Saturday at the Sunset location with Keke. OMG, I get there Saturday and Keke was the driest personality ever, they have her and another girl shoved back in some little office which they call the "Brading Lounge".. CHILE PLEASE!!! The two of them complained the entire time and talked about every worker in the building behind their backs including the owner who was there that day. (so two-faced). Anyway, after Keke washed my hair, she half way blow dried it, put tons of gel as she braided, and when I asked her what she was doing, she replied. "Oh I need to do this to get a grip". REALLY??? Now I am not bald and I have been wearing twists and braids for years. That should have been my first clue to run for my life!! Then I attempt to confirm the $100 price I was quoted over the phone and as it shows on their menu and on Facebook. She tells me that it is actually $120 and it is for the small twists. The $100 will be for regular sized twists. So I agreed to the $120 for smaller twists. So six hours later, she finishes the twists, and I notice that she has no clue that she is supposed to dip the ends. The girl in the room with her had to tell her how to dip the ends. So while the other girl left to get their food, she tells me she can put it up in a bun. So I agreed since I wanted it up anyway. To my surprise, she didn't know how to do that right either. So she's like, "Okay!" like she's done. I get up to look in the mirror and the twists were big, the ends were fluffy, the twists were spaced apart. I don't know how she got a job as a braider because she has no clue! I had to go home and put on a pot of hot water to get my ends to look the way they were supposed to look. In the process, I had to retwist several twists myself. I might as well paid myself $120.00 and did it myself! She and the other girl talk about the other girls and Techina like they are better than them. HATERS!! Little do they know, Techina runs that shop WELL. She has a beautiful personality, she is very friendly, caring, and outgoing. She is the one who should be the owner. If she ever leaves that shop and opens her own, she's gonna take almost every customer there right with her!!! Great job Techina!! Keke...you suck and should really consider going into retail or some other field that will welcome untalented people with dry personalities!

I am writing this review because I dont want anyone to go through what I had to endure. I have been a client for more than a year. My mom passed away. I talked to my stylist on Sat and scheduled an appt for Mon. My mom's funeral was on Wed. She called Mon to say that she would be late( for personal reasons). And when I was en route, she called to say that she had someone else in the chair and wouldnt be able to meet me at the beauty supply store as she had promised. I was so frustrated that I rescheduled for Tue at 11 am. On that day and at my appt time, she calls to say that she was at the Barber shop with her son. I met her and at 1 pm, I was in the chair to get a QUICK weave. I didnt leave until almost 6pm with rods in my head! The hair she chose didn't curl! And when I did leave, I was in tears--the day before my mother's funeral!! I have tolerated her and the gossiping that goes on. But, on THIS day...I needed professionalism and empathy and DID NOT get that... thx to Tachina!!!!

Even though I've been there be...

Even though I've been there before, if it was my first time I would of thought that it was not ran profesionally. The beautician that serviced me did a great job. She took the time to explain to me about my hair and how she could help me to restore it. She was very thorough and I loved my hair. I will be back again.

Poor - Not Professional at all.

This place is so ghetto. The hairstylist are so ghetto. They talk about their clients around other clients. They are a bunch of lazy, fat women. I really don't think they are all that, they really can't do hair. I went their one time and I had to wait over 1 hour, kids where running around, this place is not professional.
