DON'T DO IT!

Call Woman's Institute..Dr. Marshburn He's WONDERFUL!
Reach doesn't seem to care if you have a
child but they wage you'll spend every last
dime you have out of deperation to have one...
And BELIEVE me they WILL take advantage of that fact!

I had a really good experience there. It started with my search on the internet looking for fertility places. I called Reach and spoke to the nicest lady on the phone. She was so informative and spent almost 30 minutes with me on the phone. I saw Dr. Whitesides and he was really nice and extremely knowledgable. My husband and I left there feeling really good about our appointment.

Do not use REACH! They told us the procedures were completely covered by insurance only to find out afterwards that we owed thousands! They staff is rude and disorganized. The Dr's don't even talk to you. When you ask a question they look at you like you are crazy. The treatments gave me a horrible rash on my face but they dismissed it. I went to a dermatologist and was told that now I am allergic to my own progesterone. It was a complete nightmare for me and my husband! They act all nice up front, but once you get in the door and they have you...they then ignore you and everything you say.

Doctors are great. Staff is so bad that we are going elsewhere for our second baby. I was actually laughed at by a staff member when I asked what I thought was a reasonable question. They are overall rude and disorganized.

Outstanding Service

Maybe the process has changed since the first reviewer went there but our experience has been completely different.

The doctor (Dr. Whelan) was very thorough at our initial visit on what to expect (almost too much!), we met with the financial counselor prior to treatment that outlined everything that we would be charged (including what my insurance covered and didn't cover) and there have been no surprises, we had a consultation with a nurse that covered the entire IVF process and allowed us the opportunity to ask any questions in a private setting (nothing like a little one on one time), messages are quickly returned by my doctor's nurse (Shane is fabulous!), and everyone has been very pleasant...even the lab nurses that are working at 7am on a Sunday morning. Usually I feel like a number at my regular doctor's office as she rushes from one patient to the next but Dr. Whelan took the time at every appointment to tell me what was happening and what to expect...it was very refreshing. They have kept us informed every step of the way and have been a complete pleasure to work with.

Fortunately for us, my insurance covered almost everything so maybe that is why we haven't had an issue with insurance and charges but I suggest you call your insurance company ahead of time and find out for sure what to expect. For us, I had to have a consultation with an infertility nurse at my insurance company prior to treatment. Had I not done that then what my insurance covers would have been a lot less so make sure to do your homework!

Don't repeat my mistake

Never walk in the door of this crooked place. They will welcome you with open arms. They will convince you that your insurance will cover everything and that they will be at your service 24/7. They are fairly nice at first but it seemed like as soon as we signed some papers a switch went off and we saw their true colors. My wife and I spent about a half an hour total in the building. We each had blood taken 1 time, 1 analysis done, and 1 examination that took about 10-15 minutes. That was IT. We have received about $2000.00 in bills since then. They never answer the phone and when you do get somebody on the line they are defensive unprofessional and rude. Don't let them pull you into their web of deception as they did us. They make money exploiting peoples emotions. Most of your work is done outside and then they show you in the small print that you signed up for that and that none of it is covered. They never give you any clue what any of it will cost up front. Basically nothing is covered by insurance. 1 half hour- $2000.00 There are better doctors & better ways to try to conceive.

The Best...

After suffering through 4 years of menopause misery I was finally directed to Dr. McLoughlin at REACH. She is the absolute best. I am impressed by the time and care she took with me and feel that she completely understands my health history. I am convinced that she will help me resolve these issues.

Dream come true!

After years of fighting infertility and meeting with countless specialists, I can't say enough about the wonderful doctor's at REACH. Everyone involved from the nursing staff to the lab technicians made us feel like they were working toward our goal of having a child. We had our "reach baby" in April and she truly is a dream come true!!!!
