I am new to Charlotte, so my pets needed a new vet. Dr. Bryant took good care of my dog and the kitten whom I adopted from them. She is very nice and makes a stressful situation more comfortable for my pets. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am happy that I found a good health care provider for my pets.

I have been taking my dog Deacon to Rea Road animal hospital for the past two years and I honestly could not wish for a more caring, friendly and professional staff. Deacon was a rescue that spent the first 6-7 months of his life abandoned with no human interaction, so he is very timid around people. This being said the Rea Road team treated him with the utmost patience and love that a dog with his needs demands. It is obvious from the moment you walk in the door that everyone at the clinic truly loves animals and only wanted the best for Deac. I could not hope for a better experience in looking for a vet!

Best Animal Care in Charlotte

REA ROAD is an excellent animal hospital. The staff genuinely care for the well-being of your pet and are extremely professional. I have not received the same personal care from any other animal hospital in the Charlotte area.

Do you actually like animals?

I had the terrible experience of visiting Rae Road Animal Hospital today with one of my three dogs. When I first arrived, I had to interact with vet by means of a vet technician. (This was in the form of "the vet says..."I will tell her that you said..", now the vet says..", and so on. Finally I asked to speak to the vet directly. When she came in the exam room, she was dressed inappropriately with cleavage that would be better suited for a night club. She immediately started arguing with me about the conversation that I had with the vet tech (which by the way was completely misquoted). She proceeded to examine my dog while talking to the vet tech about another patient. She talked throughout the entire heart and lung exam. This is where I mention that I am a physician and I know full well that it is impossible to listen to the heart and lungs while having a lively conversation with another preson. She was rough with my dog, who was terrified of her. She did not explain what she was doing or why. She tried to use childish scare tactics to force her medical decisions on me. Overall, she was paternalistic and rough, had very poor conversation skills, and in my view, has very little grasp of veterinary medicine. If a regular checkup went this badly, I am very fearful of the events that might follow if a pet had a serious medical problem.

If I could give zero stars I would!!

Wonderful!

Everyone in my family uses Rea Rd Aminal Hospital. They take the best care of our pets, they are very friendly and the facilities are spotless. I recently have had to put down two of my very loved pets and they were incredibly respectful. I really value the way they treated me, my family and most of all... my pets!
