Paul Davis Restoration of Charlotte did an excellent job replacing our roof when it sustained some damage.

It is my pleasure to write this unsolicited letter of recommendation for Paul Davis Restoration of Charlotte. Scott Bailey and Alex Bailey were the general contractors for a total rebuild of my home burned July 15, 2014. I had no prior relationship with Scott or Alex, they were recommended by my insurance company. Along with the rebuild there was restoration work to be completed. The scope of rebuild was replacing wall studs, insulation, all window and doors(interior and exterior), siding, flooring, baths(tile plus fixtures), roofing rafters and shingles, front and back door stoops, kitchen cabinets, sinks and all appliances. The project involved several crews (carpenters, siding, painters, insulation, plumbing, roofing, floor coverings, electrician and structural engineer) at a budget right at $300,000.

While rebuilding is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, Scott and Alex's services as a general contractor were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final results. The quality of work done was consistently top notch. They used subcontractors who were knowledgeable, skilled and competent in their respective trades. They were conscientious about following project specifications, and their work product never needed improvement or revision. The whole ""team"" was professional, reliable, courteous and respectful. They had an old school work ethic (often Saturdays), good work habits, strong safety orientation and emphasized getting the job done right rather than doing it fast. Their pride in their work was evident. I found them to be very trustworthy. Scott and Alex were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the project, and were able to plan, coordinate and manage the activities of different work crews effectively. They remained closely involved in overseeing the project from start to finish. Their excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled them to juggle the extensive details involved in this project without missing a beat. Their familiarity with building codes and dealing with city hall also facilitated a smooth and hassle-free process when it came to building permits and inspection. Throughout the project, I was impressed with Scott and Alex's commitment to generating a top quality product rather than maximizing their profit margin. When situations arose where extra work needed to be done (because of hidden problems) they took care of it without charging me extra, or (if it was more extensive) involved me in an informed decision making process that culminated in a change order that was fair. They both kept me closely informed of work crew schedules, delivery dates, and projected completion dates of different phases of our project. Their communication was always clear, informative and helpful. Their communication with the work crews was just as affective. Their commitment to homeowner satisfaction was evident in their actions. When the project was completed, all the work was done as described and agreed upon, and there were no hidden costs or unpleasant surprises. As a homeowner and customer, I felt Scott and Alex delivered exactly what they had promised. I am absolutely convinced that they delivered the best value (in terms of the work done) for the price. . During the project there was not one single neighbor complaint. Instead neighbors passed on compliments about the work crews ""those guys really work hard""!!

I am very pleased with the final product Scott and Alex delivered. I am extremely impressed with their work as a general contractor. Scott and Alex are a rare find these days! I wrote this because I believe that exceptional work should be recognized. I would not hesitate to hire Scott and Alex again, or to recommend them to my friends and neighbors. I recommend Paul Davis of Charlotte, Scott Bailey and Alex Bailey to you most enthusiastically, and without any reservations.

We had a devastating fire at our home in October of 2014. It was such a frightening experience for our family. Paul Davis Restoration was recommended by our insurance company. Alex Bailey was in charge of our restoration and he did the most wonderful, amazing job. Our entire home had to be rebuild and Alex and his team worked so very, very hard to get the job done.

I called Paul Davis Restoration of Charlotte and was very satisfied by the professionalism, personal attention, and price by Scott Bailey. My whole house smelled from smoke damage and he offered me an option that was affordable, safe, fast, and convenient to eliminate the odor. I really appreciated his help and would absolutely recommend him!

In February of 2015 our family was devastated with the loss of a loved one in their home which required biological clean up. Paul Davis Restoration was recommended to us so I contacted them as soon as possible. Even though the winter weather was bad they came out and got the clean up started very fast and had everything removed and sanitized in about a week, which under the circumstances was amazing. They did such a good job with the clean up that we decided to let them handle all the reconstruction that was needed and everything came out looking very nice. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs the various services they provide. They were not only timely and efficient but also very considerate in handling such a sensitive project.

They removed/ replaced the hardwood floors on my bottom floor due to water damage from a flood. I took the opportunity at the same time to remodel my kitchen and have some painting and other repairs done. During the process, they were responsive to my requests and very concerned that I was satisfied with their work. I work certainly recommend them.
