Founded in 1948, Our Lady of the Assumption School is a Catholic educational center that serves more than 150 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in math, science, English, social studies, physical education, music, computer technology, language arts and Spanish. The school provides a variety of sports activities, including soccer, basketball, softball, baseball and cheerleading. It operates a parent-teacher organization that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff. The school also maintains a library that stocks books, periodicals and newspapers for students. It organizes book fairs, field trips and spelling bee competitions.
