Our whole family loves MAU. The instructors at MAU do a fabulous job teaching martial arts, but they don't stop there. They truly make it their mission to make their students better people. My children enjoyed their classes so much that I tried it as well. I have had a great experience and can confidently say that MAU is a wonderful place to train for both children and adults.

Our family loves this program. We train together - and have fun together - here. My son's confidence level has increased so much, even his schoolteachers are recognizing a difference.

When I say this is the best place for your child and your self it is ! Master Harris and his family are the best. He and his son and wife are great with children. He knows how to get that child to break out of there shell, he gives up tips on how to work on your child at home , not only with karate but mentally . We get emails once a week on tips and upcoming event. They never leave out a child and I love that every child is speacial . And it's a reasonable price . Soooooo worth it !!!

MAU is the the best martial arts school in Charlotte, because I have seen several masters/instructors from other Martial Arts schools comes to MAU to learn and sharpen their skills from Master Harris ,who is Master of the Masters - SubinKumar Thambi

Master Harris is phenomenal with the kids and teaching Martial Arts. He is so passionate at what he does and cares so much about each student. We are so grateful to have found MAU!

It's not just about kicking, punching and self defense, it's a lot more than that. I learned a lot about life in general as well. I am 30 yearls old now and wish if I had this experience when I was a kid or as a teenager..

This is an amazing place to learn martial arts and a good work out. The instructors are incredible at what they do and are very easy to talk to. We ended up making a 6 week trial into the whole family joining. Great place and great people!

Martial Arts is a life changing just not for the student but also for the parents. I can personally say I am a great leader in the community because of MAU.

Everything! Master Harris has a true gift! He & his team recognize each one of their students as individuals. Master Harris teaches and cares for each person who walks through his door. I have seen him redirect the most "busy" child to a positive place. His positive affirmations & life lessons are life changing.

Awesome place. Our kids love it. Master Harris and his staff are great with the kids and not only teach martial arts but life long skills. Their is always a positive attiude.

The program and instructors at MAU are fantastic. They equip the children with confidence, respect, and an understanding that martial arts is a way of life. The program incorporates positive reinforcement that extends past their time in the facility and into their home and school life.

I started training at MAU on March 19, 2014 after my twin sons started on March 1, 2014. I had previously earned a black belt on karate when I was 17 years old and was starting all over again at 47. While the martial arts instruction is phenomenal, the school is so much more than that. The instructors teach life skills in addition to kicking, punching and self-defense techniques. After a year and a half, I earned my first degree black belt this past Sunday and will work toward my next degree as one of my twins works toward his first degree. Training at MAU is a great family activity. You should definitely check it out!

Simple rocking!! Great place to learn both martial arts as well good behaviour. All staffs are very supportive and helpful.

Could ask for a better team of instructors , always go above and beyond . My daughter has learned so much not only about martial arts but how to be the best she can be all around ! Love MAU

Not only does MAU teach Martial Arts in a way that kids (and adults alike) totally relate to and are excited about, it teaches them life skills. My son has grown tremendously in strength and confidence since beginning this program over 4 years ago.

The best place to train in Taekwondo and other martial arts. I've learned so much more than kicking and punching. It's helped me become the awesome person I am today. THANK YOU Master Harris for having a diverse group of instructors that demonstrate leadership and life skills. I've been impressed with everyone that I've met at the facility. I also appreciate the ability to train with and watch my sister practice and grow :-)

Master Harris and his team are the best in Charlotte. I have had the privilege of training with him for over 2 years and his curriculum not only teaches students of all ages self defense, but so much more. You will learn honor, respect, self discipline, focus and leadership to name a few. Master Harris and his team have over 50 years of experience in Martial Arts. I started late in my martial arts training, I got involved when I was 36 years old and how I watch him work with the kids that he starts out as early as 3 years old, is just amazing. MAU has truly done a great job helping mold the future leaders of tomorrow within the Charlotte community!
