I have hit and miss with these guys..Let me put it this way..They do good work mostly but,.When it's bad it's really bad..They don't know the half of it because I never told them..I took my car out of town after they had done a bunch of work and over half of the work they did failed and along with a huge repair bill I had a huge towing bill..That experience cost me well over a 1000,00 dollars. I have had some issues with their work and believe me you will be the a-hole because they won't own up..I have had clear bad work done by them and they won't even hear it..I'm done! with them!!..They have saved me some money and cost me a lot of money!..

Billy has done all my auto repair for the past 11 years, and I know him very well. Great guy, honest, fair minded, knowledgeable and conscientious. I was lucky to find him when I did. He'll always be my mechanic. Works on anything, but for years he specialized in Volvo and Volkswagen. Has a huge inventory of used parts, and he knows every detail about those models. It's a no-brainer to give him a rave endorsement. He has absolutely earned it.

Very unprofessional business. Owner did not stand by his work . Had a engine swap done.Drove vehicle all of 35 miles to home back to shop for check engine light on. Loosing antifreeze. Owner would not honor the 90 days he guaranteed. Vehicle just sat on lot for over six weeks. Owner kept promising He was going to work on it. Would never recommend this shady business to anyone. Would have got better service at Walmart on Wilkinson Blvd

3 trips over 8 months and more than $1000.00 to the Charlotte Volvo Dealer and the problem was not solved. 2 trips to Billy at Lakeview Auto and $217.00 later, PROBLEM SOLVED! We were thinking about selling our Volvo because of the cost of maintenance at the dealership, but since our experience at Lakeview we have decided to keep it.

I drive a VW Jetta and was referred to this place by another salvage place who told me lakeview specializes in Volkswagens. I was in need of a rim. When I called and asked if they had anything in stock the lady that answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I was on the phone for at least 15 min trying to explain I simply needed a RIM. She was clueless and extremely unhelpful. She had me take a picture of my tire and send it to her. She said she would get back in touch with me "in a few minutes" its been over 2 hours and still no reply. Heads up to business owners, have someone that knows what they are doing to answer the phone. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Awful. Just awful.

Incredibly convenient! I called Lakeview in the early afternoon and they came out later that afternoon at the exact time they indicated. The driver was very friendly and informative. I was paid what was quoted when I called and did not have to haggle like other junk car companies try to do. In fact, I called two other companies and they never showed up. I am glad to see there are still companies like Lakeview with great service out there.

I can't beleive how great this is! I called these guys to pick up my junk car and they came later that afternoon and paid me in cash! How great is that....I did not have to go to the bank!!! Ask for John, the owner.....very nice guy.
