Provided by YP.comI applied for a loan with First South Mortgage, got approved and locked a rate at 4.375%. A few weeks later, just before closing they called me and said there was an internal problem and they would not honor the terms agreed upon. By the way I have an 808 credit score and put 20% down. I talked with the owner Kevyn Wagner and ask him to honor the terms they had given to me. He refused and offered me a higher interest rate. I have filed compaints with the Mortgage Brokers associaion, the NC Department of Justice and the Federal Trade commission. I have never had an issue with a mortgage in my life until now.
