Joey Stagnone was wonderful to work with. He was patient, funny and down to earth. I appreciate the great service and selection they have.

Purchased a ring from there. Just picked it up. They charged us higher price than one on the evaluation - really overpriced. I feel like an idiot. In addition the craftsmanship execution of the ring was so poor - I would have given "F" grade on craftsmanship. It is back in the workshop, but really would not get that much better - the bottom of the prongs are so quite disappointing - how they executed it.

At this point, I was put off by the experience enough that I wanted to come back and purchase the ring when I was in a more jovial frame of mind. We were picking out a ring for the biggest and happiest commitment of my life, right? We tell Mrs. Carmichael-Rosser that we appreciated her help and that we were going to sleep on our decision and that we woudl be in touch soon.



After she handed me her business card with my preferred ring along with my size, she asked what my fiancée was interested in looking at for herself. My fiancée told her that I had already purchased her engagement ring and the wedding band as a set. Mrs. Carmichael-Rosser then asked to look at her ring, and she said (I'm seriously not making this up) "even though it has three stones, it's really nice." It's relatively difficult to offend me, but that did it. Needless to say we purchased my ring elsewhere.

Unless it is a diamond ring they Do Not stand behind their products. Spent quite a bit of money on a diamond they check, clean, etc. Braclets no, they tell don't wear doing certain things, fine still breaks. Don't do this it breaks very poor quality now I have to pay to fix. It's not true about their quality for less money. It's all hype. They ignore you most if the time in the store. We have bought several things there and it's nothing like the advertisement. Won't buy anything else from them.

Diamonds Direct told me they were going to let me borrow anything I wanted to wear from their entire store for my wedding. This was their suggestion not my suggestion. I was so excited and grateful! They promised me this when we bought my engagement ring~ 6 months before our wedding. I came back in about 4 weeks before our wedding to select the promised jewelry accessories. Together between my maid of honor and I~ we selected well over $250,000 worth of diamonds. The salesperson we were working with was helping us decide what would be perfect for the big day. We made our selections and the salesperson wrote down all of our choices...he then told me to call him about 1 week before the wedding to remind him to FedEx the pieces out. I was thrilled!! I called him 5 days before our wedding and he told me he would call me back in 30 minutes to confirm all the shipping info, etc. Instead of his return phone call, I received a very disappointing phone call from the manager, Mark. Mark informed me that he had some bad news and that Diamonds Direct was not going to allow me to borrow anything for my wedding which was now 5 days away. His excuse was that they had an insurance policy change in the last few months that prevented them from allowing brides to borrow large dollar amounts of jewelry for weddings. But our wedding is this Wednesday, 12-21-2011, the Wednesday before Christmas. So obviously I'm sure they changed their mind suddenly because they do not want to miss out on a potential big sale before Christmas. Either way, the excuse doesn't matter...the point is they promised me from day one that I could borrow anything I wanted from their store. My maid of honor and I spent at least 2 hours in their store weeks before the wedding selecting the perfect pieces (with the salesperson who originally made these promises) to compliment our gowns. The bottom line is they never had to offer...but pulling the rug out from under the bride, only 5 days before her wedding, was CRUEL. I had to rush out and now scrabble to find the perfect jewelry accessories for my wedding gown...what a nightmare...and more stress before our wedding day. Needless to say, Diamonds Direct will NEVER see us again.
